General info and eating habits:
Small, anthropomorphic creatures, usually ranging between 3 to 4 2/3 feet tall. Their body structure and construction is like a mixture of a human's and that of a moth, anatomy like a human, with most insides and fur like a moths, while their skin has the odd combination of both characteristics, though they also have a few unique characteristics that aren't similar to either. Their fur patterns tend to consist of natural marking or spot patterns of any kind, and their fur will actually change lightness or darkness in shade depending on the season, and will aslo get duller after they find their perfect lover(s). They are generally omnivores, they prefer medium and large fruits and nectar. They will occasionally need meat, but when they do, they only scavenge for scraps. They're too weak to hunt, and are generally very peaceful creatures, along with being much more intellectual and compete through more cunning means than fighting. The females are generally born larger than males and stay that way throughout their lifetime, though there are a select few that are born the opposite way by a submissive gene they all carry.
Gender differences:
Females have longer ears, longer tails, and smaller eyebrows. They also usually cannot process nectar or milk very well, so the females rely on sugary fruits and vegetables as a substitute in their diet. Females, unlike the males, are born with lace-like wings that are usually bright reflective colours, that become lighter and duller shades during the winter, and flourescent during the fall. Males, instead of having wings, have twin tails that they can use to do tricks to impress females, climb trees, and fan their unique dander into the eyes of their enemies and rivals for distraction. Only the males have a special chemical in their dander that causes hallucinogenic properties, and can drastically heighten their enemies' paranoia, basically making their enemies run away after pissing themselves and driving themselves mad with confusion. Males have incredible tactic abilities, and are one of the best creatures known for "mind terrorism". Males are MUCH thinner than females, and even though females have the ability to be fat or chubby, only very few, which are usually ones that havethe become "loners", ever lose enough of their metabolism through a depressing diet to actually gain much weight.
Personality and behavior:
Females are generally your typical "blondie" stereotype. Sensitive, need constant pampering or they get moody, LOVE and encourage attention of any kind, not all that bright, and are incredibly adorable and sweet.
As for the males, they tend to be very confident and commonly conceited, get easily competitive and angered, and have a collecting issue that they will use to impress and pamper any friends or females they grow fond of. Males also tend to enjoy racing and climbing for fun.
Mating and maternal behavior:
Mahru are incredibly delicate creatures, and will die within a decade of adulthood if they are without love and/or family. For courtship, a single male Mahru will decorate himself with the trinkets he has collected to try and be as flashy as possible to gain the attention of as many females as possible till they find one that matches their needs/preferences, meawhile the females will use their favorite fruits as little hats, and to stain their fur with beautiful flashy colours and scents, to actract as many males as possible. After finding ones they are atracted to, the males will give the female their favorite item that they are wearing, and if the female accepts, the female will place their fruit-hat upon the head of that male. the Marhu will be incredibly affectionate and irresistibly cute to their significant other for atleast an entire year, before they are both comfortable enough with eachother to mate and/or create children with one another. Like humans, they have both the capability to be monogamous or polyamorous, but generally cannot survive well without atleast one partner once their adults. Also like humans, they can also mate just for the pleasure, and some won't even want to create a family. Unlike humans, the males can actually trigger when they're cum will actually be fertile, shortly before their climax. Teens will spend their yearsold experimenting and finding a permanent mate, to ensure a long and successful life.
Lifespan and maturity:
If a Mahru is happy and healthy they can usually live for millennia, and generally aren't susceptible to any illnesses, except very rare instances, once they have fully matured. The Mahru are actually so connected to their partner(s), so if one starts to get ill and/or is dying, they wil start to feel the same problems that partner is feeling. Because of this, alot Mahru will be polyamorous, because the multiple partners makes such an experience less painful, and keeps them from dying with their partner.
Mahru are very complex creatures, and very unique, so unique that they even go through puberty twice and their bodies never go old, though they still go through the mental and emotional stages of old age. Their first 30 years of life are spent in childhood, experiencing and absorbing as much as possible, until they become teens through puberty. The next stage in their lifespan is their first go through puberty, where they startto experimenting and recognizing what they personally seek in/with a significant other(s). Once they have gained the life that suits them, they will once again go through puberty and become adults, living happily with their mate(s), possibly creating a family, and living out the rest of their lives.

Nah, you're special, so I figured yours could be one of the small exceptions that was a chubby male. Lol :3c
hahahahaha LOL Thank you. XD I was just trying to challenge you really! :D
Good, I need it lol! Plus I think the marshmallow pudge will be UBER KAWAII!!! > U<
As for puberty, they do go through puberty pretty similarly to humans during their first time through puberty, but once they go through it again and become adults is when they finally gain their reproductive abilities. The second time is when the males start producing sperm and gaining their maternal urges, females finally start forming eggs in their uterus, and the females finally form their cervix and opens up (yes, that's correct, their vagina and uterus are entirely separate until then). :3
Biologically incapable. Because of how their species' partnership works chemically, physically, emotionally, and mentally, they cannot fall in love with a creature of another species, they can only grow fond of another species, like a family or strong friendship type of bond.
Yes, Mahru, just like humans, are capable of being bisexual and homosexual, ontop of just the normal heterosexual. Unlike humans it wasn't developed over time, it was naturally in their chemistry to begin with, and because of this, none of them carry any harsh feelings for any kind of sexuality.
And I love how complex the species is.. and so flashy. lol Awesome <3
Well, let me know if you're getting any soon, cause you can always order one and then pay me once it's done! Specially since I tend to take a while with customs~ :3c
