Nope...Some of them are old-school games. In the Cthulu waiting line the purple-yellow clown is Malcolm from Legend of Kyrandia, and just a bit back there is the Purple Tentacle from Maniac Mansion: Day of the Tentacle. I never knew Diablo is on Xbox too...

Okay that's most of them I played (75% i guess) by whatever means...but i tried them, and beaten most of them. This picture holds many memories to me.

well i moved on to skyrim but unfortunately the ps3 version is being treated like crap. apparently this has always been a problem for games made by that developer so i dunno if ill buy any future games from them till they polish all versions they make.

Fallout 3 = Skyrim (graphics and weapons are different, but it's the same sh!t.) And Bethesda only made cr@p, as far as I can judge. Your last sentence is valid to me...but I doubt, that they would care that much.

I got Skyrim (downloaded, obviously), but I only want to check out the argonian and khajit models. I was deeply disappointed even in the first Morrowind (or whatever they called it... Oblivion?) Elder Scrolls game already - I dunno about anyone else, but I don't call a game where battle consists of you running around in a FPS view swinging your sword wildly at enemies until they die a 'Role Playing Game". Nope, that's an action game. An action game where you can gain levels, but still an action game. I just cannot enjoy combat like that.

Not to mention that the creators created this truly interesting huge world with lots of backstory and characters... and just dropped you in the middle without making you a proper storyline. You are just... there, trying to make a living. That's kinda... like living in the real world. You know, the one we want to escape from by playing RPGs?

Same goes for stuff like Fallout 3, New Vegas, Skyrim, Mass Effect. They might have interesting worlds and great graphics, but I don't care to play a glorified shoot-em-up with swords and magic to experience it. I wish we could get back to the proper classic RPGs, but heck, even Dragon Age got "consolified" by the second game. I laughed my ass off when I saw how Flemeth looks like in DAII - like friggin' Maleficient! In DA:O she was incredibly mysterious and very, very threatening thanks to what she said, not because what she looked like.

Btw, Killerye - if you want to play a good new-ish RPG, I can recommend Faery - Legends of Avalon. It has a great turn-based battle system, interesting characters, great graphics - only turn-off is, it is very short (supposed to be the first part of a trilogy).

You had to have..just not ever gamed like PERIOD. Inclduing when it's got stuff like Space Quest, Grim Findago, Sims, Pac-Man, Worms, Earthworm Jim, Guilty Gear, Devil May Cry, Unreal Tournament, Evil Genius, Day of the Tentacle, Painkiller, Lemmings, Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress 2, Morrowind, Postal, Abe's Oddasy, and everything else that would take me hours to type down.

...But there is ONE game there no one could ever play...










...Starcraft:Ghost.

I was a big-time adventure gamer so Legend of Kyrandia, Grim Fandango, Day of the Tentacle, Runaway, Monkey Island, Leisure Suit Larry...etc, etc , holds a ruling place in my heart!

I played with all of those (and some unmentioned, like Postal and Dune): And i've beaten most of them too! Gamer-Gurl-Powa!

Ah mah gawd. I was a huuuuge Command and Conquer geek back-in-the-day. The original games, I would run them on the PC, and mod/recode a lot of it to make my own soldiers/units/buildings.

I have fond memories of making a moveable, deployable NOD laser tower. xD

Also, I think the very first FPS game I ever played was the DOOM series. Gawd, those were the days.
