I have a couple of things that I'd really like to address so please bear with me and I would appreciate if you read all of this. It's important to me and if you care about me, should be important to you too.



1. Please do not invite yourself or hint about wanting to come to my wedding.
I appreciate that you are excited for me and want to come share that special moment with me but if I want you to be there, I will ask you to be there. Weddings are extremely expensive and as such, I am going to have to be very careful about who I select to have at my wedding. That isn't to say I wouldn't have each and every one of you come celebrate with me on our special day, but that obviously just isn't realistic. As such, I will only be able to invite family and some, but not all of, my most intimate friends. It makes me feel bad when you guys say how much you want to come to my wedding when I know that I won't be able to invite you all. And really when it comes down to it, it's simply rude to invite yourself to a party at someone else's expense. So please stop.


2. Character theft - knock it off. Here's why...
As you all know by now, I hate it when people post art of Icee on Facebook. Many of you have asked me why I care so much. It's just a picture. It's just a character. Well, Calaystia wrote a rather informative journal that pretty much summed up why this bothers me so much. Please read.


3. Chat RP, touchy feely emotes. Stop.
I've mentioned this before but I'm going to say it again just because the problem hasn't stopped. I hate hate hate when people touch me or act intimate with me in RP/emotes. Stuff like -hugs you- and -pets you- and whatnot really bothers me. There are very few people who I feel comfortable enough with to allow such emotes but chances are, you are not one of those people. If I have emote hugged you, it's okay to emote hug me back. But this isn't an open invitation to crawl into my lap, scritch my back, pet me, etc. If you aren't sure whether or not I would be okay with it, ASK!! The worst that could happen is that I will say "Sorry, I'm not comfortable with that" and we can move on with our conversation. I won't look at you any differently and I won't be upset at you. In fact, I'll appreciate that you took the time to find out what my comfort zone was instead of just pushing my boundaries.

4. Furry related words that bother me. Try not to use them around me... Also, don't talk like a babyfur around me please.
There are several words specific to this fandom that just really bug me. We don't have to butcher every word to make it exclusively furry... most of the time it sounds absolutely retarded. I want to be spoken to like an intelligent adult, so I would appreciate if you would try not to use these words around me. Also, please don't speak like a baby fur around me. I get it's part of your fursona and who you are... but acting like a child around me makes me feel like my time and attention are not worth behaving like the adult you are... I know you are capable of talking like an adult... so drop the baby speak at least just around me.

- Yiff (or any variation of, i.e. "yifftastic," "merry Yiffmas," "yiffy," etc.)
- Pawsome (please guys.. just use awesome. Pawsome sounds so... retarded)
- Fursecution
- Furvert
- Paw off
- Pretty much any originally "normal" word or phrase butchered by replacing part of it with "fur," "paw," etc.
