Etheras character usage agreement
This document describes the terms for my consent for the use of the furry character "Etheras" for content creators and commissioners.
By depicting Etheras in any medium, you agree to the following terms:
(1) Etheras is not a public character, and shall not be depicted without the creator's permission. (This includes "gifts" or "surprises". These are expressly forbidden. If you plan to depict Etheras, you must notify me beforehand). Note: Permission is de facto "granted" if I am the commissioner.
(2) No media of Etheras shall be posted without the creator's explicit approval. This includes general releases of "Works in Progress". Before any media depicting Etheras (or his likeness) is posted, it must be approved by me.
(3) I have the right to order the removal of any media depicting Etheras or his likeness and for any reason.
(4) I have the right to post any media anywhere (with credit given to the artist, of course) that depicts Etheras or his likeness. I can post without permission of the artist and at my sole discretion (unless special agreement is reached prior. Example of when this might apply: retail furry comics, art for exclusive furry art sites, etc)
(5) Credit for the character design must be present on all images depicting Etheras. This is usually the words "Etheras the fennec © his creator" in fine print somewhere on the image. The reasons for this are two-fold: to stop character plagiarism (people reposting Etheras images saying "this character is mine"), and to provide fans of the character with a name that they can then search-for.
These rules are to minimize the number of incorrect or inaccurate depictions of Etheras, and to maintain an overall high standard of quality and accuracy for the Etheras character, his likeness, and his canon. If these rules are not acceptable to you, you do not have permission to depict Etheras. In the event that a content creator changes his or her mind on these terms after a commission has begun, I expect the payment to be returned in full, and the work-in-progress will be destroyed (no recoloring or depicting the Etheras character as another character).
This agreement is subject to change at any time, so if you're an artist who frequently does Etheras artwork, you may want to check back periodically, although any changes are likely to simply reinforce or clarify the rules listed above.
Thanks!

However it should have an e-mail adress for prospective artists to actually contacy you to ask permission tho.
Check my journal Project 365
I'm glad I read them, I want to do a dragon-age ish tarot piece with him (with your permission of course) but i'm glad I read this first.
I'm not sure where you currently stand on gift art with your permission but if it ever becomes an option I think it'd be cool to draw.
