i got an even worse issue... soon the announcement will be made.. to exterminate all but 20 breeding pairs of wolves in America. The Bush administration has a hand in this one as well. I can get all the info if ya want.

You are being bullshited by moneygrubbers. There are a lot of ripoff artists who prey on those who want to help the environment and/or animals. Their statement is false. First, there are thousands of breeding pairs in Alaska, and Alaska is part of America. There are far more than 20 breeding pairs in lower 48 National Parks, too.

i've been recieving e-mails and letters from them for a while now giving me all kind sof statistics and facts saying that they PLAN to exterminate so many wolves and release the wolves form the endanhgered list. I've even watched youtube videos on this. No one has asked me for money so I don't think I am being scammed. I got another e-mail which i JUST read saying that they HAVE been removed form the endangered species list to remove federal protections from these animals. I don't know if ALL of it is true or not but i do knwo that idaho, wyoming, and alaska really want to get rid of some wolves for bs reasons.

No such actions could be taken without the managing agency (US Fish and Wildlife for endangered species) first publishing what they want to change in the Federal Register and soliciting Public Comments. If there is no link to a specific proposal in the Federal Register, it either isn't for real, or the people publishing the data are so ignorant that they are nearly useless. Indeed, there are people in Idaho, Wyoming, and Alaska who want to reduce the number of wolves in certain areas, but sometimes the reasons are legitimate. Wolves should not be called an endangered species in Alaska, because they really aren't. In any case, the Administrative Procedure Act won't allow any changes to be made in the status quo without the solicitation of Public Comments first via the FR. If they ignore your comments, the APA gives you access to redress via the Federal courts (which I have successfully used.)

I have used the Public Notice and Comment requirement of the APA to block Federal actions that would have harmed endangered species on my property:

Of course, Federal agents know that they are rarely prosecuted for violating Federal Law, and sometimes they do. Their idiotic actions wiped out an endangered fish in one of my hot springs. I warned them that their management policies would exterminate the fish, and I was right. The guilty parties got promoted on schedule... Sigh...

the peopel e-mailign me are the defenders of wildlife and they gave me the number for the US Fish and Wildlife for Endagered Species committee or whatever and told me to call and tell them i don't approve. i haven't had tiem to do that.

Don't feel bad about it. They are asking you to waste your time. The government doesn't give a crap about what it's subjects think except for those who make a written public comment during the public comment period for a specific proposed action published in the Federal Register. They pay attention then because that public comment is literally the key to the courthouse door under the APA, and the bureaucrats never know when they will piss someone off enough to sue. Been there, done that, won.
