Food - Photos of food may only be uploaded if: A) all elements of the culinary piece are created by the user, B) the submission abides by the quality and photo dump/similar content rules, and C) both the culinary creation and photograph exhibit artistic merit. Photos of purchased or common food (candy, sandwiches, drinks, etc) are not permitted. Only dishes that showcase the uploader's culinary skill will be allowed.

That's referring to dishes/plates of food made by people, as we have a lot of people who like to photoblog their dining experiences with a quasi FA-Yelp.

The image is NOT just focusing the bacon, not of a collection of bacon. If a user was posing with their weapons... that'd be acceptable, too. If he JUST took a picture of bacon? Violation. Picture of all his bacon? Violation. Saying that there's "purchased content" in any picture does not instantly make any image a violation by default.

I kinda have to agree with Straycat as I don't see any artistic merit in the image. Nothing was done to the bacon, which was the focal point of the image. If I posted an image of myself holding cans of soda, is that art?
