A handy hint on the subject of making stock for your next soup or stew from  morphine.wulf

When I'm cooking I save parts of vegetables/herbs
Examples: Ends of carrots, garlic I don't use, stems from fresh herbs, ect.
I take these and freeze them in a baggie like this:

Then save them for when I eventually make stock.
