As already announced in an earlier journal (www.furaffinity.net/journal/3131903/): I am starting a fundraiser with the aim to make a donation to the “Snow Leopard Trust” (www.snowleopard.org). These guys are funding both research about these beautiful cats (cameras, tracking collars …) as well as education in conservation for the local people in five countries with a significant population of snow leopards.

If you want to contribute to this fundraiser you have four possibilities:
1) I am offering fine art prints of my photos. From each sold photo 10 Euro will be put in to the fundraiser. For prices and other information see at the very end of this journal.
2) If you are an artist you can offer special commissions. Your customer can pay the price directly to my account and I will note you so you can finish and deliver the artwork … or you forward a part to me if you don’t want to donate the full amount. The money gained this way will be put in the fundraiser 1:1.
3) You can ask for commissions from one of the artists taking part in this fundraiser under (2) – I will collect information about these special commissions in this journal … so stay tuned
4) You can just send money to my PayPal account as a donation which will also be put in to the fundraiser 1:1
Of course there is also the number 5 which is free for you: Spread the information about this fundraiser to your watchers by publishing a journal with a backlink to this journal. It will help us to find more people interested in contributing to this fundraiser. If you would like to give more for the trust than asked for in a commission you are of course free to pay a bit more … the extra will always be transferred 1:1 into the fundraiser.

I will do the organization and keep track of all payments coming in and I will carry the PayPal fees for all transactions to my account – that will be my main contribution besides offering my photos. An information bar will be added to my user page which shows how much money we have gathered so far. After reaching a suitable sum I will make a donation to the Snow Leopard Trust. If we keep collecting money after that I will make a second, third, …. All of that will be documented here on my FA page.

If you are interested in some kind of contribution to this fundraiser (like providing a special commission) I would be very happy to get a note from you. All special commissions offered will be linked from this journal and from all future ones.

Now about my photos: Most photos in my gallery are eligible for the fine art prints (I will have to make some limitations based on the resolution available as some photos are crops – so please just ask about the photo you are interested in). I will offer fine art prints on special Hahnemühle paper made with pigmented inks (so they are stable for expected 200 years to come). As shipping gets very expensive for larger sizes I will offer the following sizes:
- single prints of 20x30cm
- prints of 15x20cm including a passé-partout
(the actual sizes can vary corresponding to the aspect ratio of the chosen photo)
Both are offered at the same price of 25 Euro including worldwide shipping (10 Euro of this sum will be put into the fundraiser – the rest barely covers my costs of printing and shipping). If you want to have different sizes (also larger ones) don’t hesitate to contact me and I can look about printing and shipping costs.
