We kept hearing something crashing in our room one night at about 4AM, yet when we turned the light on, there was nothing...THAT was pretty fucking scary D:

At first we thought it was coming from next door, seeing as out bedroom was right up against our neighbors living room, until we remembered that apartment was vacant at the time o________o;;

could have been someone breaking into the apartment.. using it as a crash pad or place to party before it was rented..

... though I haven't heard of someone doing that in an apartment.. it's usually houses..

Omg, I'm one of those people. Who read something mildly spooky and scare the shite out of themselves. And 9 times out of 10 it happens when you're all alone! lol Though my pets usually look at me like I'm crazy.

Lol They're great for that. They're like "Dude where's the fire? @_@" friday frightmare on tv gets me XP I don't know why I watch them... I tell myself I'm going to bed at the next commercial but then I'll watch the whole damn thing and have to watch an hour of cartoons or funny things to calm myself down lol

Right now, I have my music blaring, just so I don't have to sit in dead silence and get freaked out by every little creak and moan the house makes e-e Ghosts and creepy stuff fascinates me to no end, but I have a bad tendency to let my imagination get carried away at the WORST times >.O

I've always figured a good imagination can be a gift and a curse at the same time ^_^; I've heard those sounds... not fun in the best of times lol. Musics good to find the "happy place" where those scary ghouls can't get

My mother hated the Santa Ana winds were get here in the desert. It made the wood frame house creak all night and she couldn't sleep right.

Sometimes though, it's kinda' fun to be scared. I think that's part of the reason why we do it. Because deep inside, we like to be a little frightened sometimes. Good ghost stories are good for a cheap thrill, and honestly fascinating as well. :)

I love going through ghost stories or going to \"haunted\" places and trying to see if anything happens.

*giggles!* Sometimes I scare people without even meaning to. Family, friends, even customers at my store. Its because I just naturally move around so quietly. And then I'm like, "Hi" or "How's everything?", causing them to jump and sometimes let out an "Eep!"

If I could cling to stuff, I'd make a good ninja. :P

Every time I have to go to the kitchen in the middle of the night I'm scared because we have a ghost that whispers.

The funny part is I don't believe in ghosts... but there is a spot in the dining room where you here a very low female voice that whispers something. Whatever she says is incomprehensible, just a very faint voice saying something. You have to stand exactly in that spot and you will hear it. It will make your hair stand up.

Of course, I'm sure it's just some freaky acoustic effect, because I know there is no such thing as ghosts. But it still scares the shit out of me.

When I was in 4th grade I lived in a haunted house for about a year and a half before my mom finally got sick of it all and moved. Really crazy, weired shit would happen that you just couldn't pass off as a coincidence.
