If you've noticed from the journals that I've posted early on, I started this thing where I award points to those who get the right answer to my trivia questions. It's been about nine months between when I first started that venture and finally gave out another set of points.

So, here are the tabulations:

 TabbieWolf - 500 points (From last year)
 ChaosReign - 25 points

Here's how the game works: I will ask trivia questions, show a picture that you have to guess what it is, quote a famous line, etc, and award points based on who gives me the correct answer first. You could leave a comment in the journal, or PM me. I advise, though, that you comment first, since I will know immediately who gave the correct answer first, as trying to answer my private messages is too time consuming on my end.

I'll be posting the game with the subject header, "For the Point", to give you a heads up.

Points issued are valid for only that year. (Sorry, Tabbie). Points are awarded based on difficulty. 25 points for easy, 50 for medium, and 75 for difficult. At the end of the year, I will add up all the points, and give out a prize to the first, second, and third place winners. I'll also be posting the difficulty level and amount of points the correct answer is worth with each post.

In the event of a tie, I will ask a tie-breaker question to determine place. For instance, if there are two tied for first, I'll ask a question to determine the first and second place winners. Third place won't be affected. If for second place, I'll ask the question to determine who goes to second and who goes to third. First won't be affected. And if there's a tie for third, I'll ask the question to determine the third place winner, first and second won't be affected.

This contest is effective as of 6 PM today, so  ChaosReign already has the headstart. I'll try to keep the contest on a weekly, or at most bi-weekly schedule, meaning you'll have to keep a heads up in terms of watching me. I'll do my best to inform you of when I'll be posting the game, which I'll try to put up on Sunday, at 6 PM Pacific time.

If you're lucky, I may even go a little further, and post the quiz in your journal. To keep things interesting. So stay alert.

Prizes: I have no set prize list yet for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, though I am open to suggestions. Nothing outrageous, expensive, or illegal, though. Meaning that sex acts, high-def TVs with Playstation 3's, and drugs are out of the question. If you want that kind of stuff, I'm sure that a trip to the bar, a second job, and the prospect of prison time should be the efforts of your hard work and sacrifice.
