A life no one cares about is still a life worth saving!

Well, today I was at school hanging out in the student lounge with my friend adam. All of a sudden we heard some thing hit one of the big glass windows. Adam says "Holy crap i think a bird just killed it's self!" So we run outside and and see this bird twitching on the sidewalk with it's mouth wide open. It wasn't dead though, i think it was just in shock. A bunch of people where just standing around looking at the poor bird DIE! Finally after realizing no one was going to do anything I picked the bird up where it proceeded to crap all over my hands (it wasn't its fault it was just scared). Every one else was telling me to just leave it but if I did that it would have died no matter what (we have a family of feral cats on our campus). So i grabbed a big bowl and some paper towels and washed my hands, and kept him and gave him water from an eyedropper I got in the chemistry lab. The whole time everybody was all like "just leave it it's just a bird!" or "It's gonna die anyways it's not worth it!" But i kept taking care of it and when my best friend got out of class she helped me, (it was rely sweet too, it let me pet it the whole time) and right before school got out it flew of onto a tree! He was beautiful I named him Bandit and i'll put some pics of him up right after this. But it just goes to show, just because someone thinks a life is worthless or not worth saving, doesn't mean it's true!
:3c he was probably just stunned, and you could have watched him until he caught his breath, but you took care of him and kept him out of harm's way long enough to recover and fly off.
