My opinion on Kony 2012. Bullshit.

I think this is already being blown way the fuck out of proportion, and almost no-one seems to have been checking the facts.

This video is what's got everyone talking about.
This video is light on hard facts, there are no statistics, no numbers, just anecdotal evidence to support this movement. I support the capture of Joseph Kony and the trial by justice for his crimes, but I do not support misinformation and intentionally leaving the facts behind in light of emotional outreach.
Here is some information about Kony, the LRA, and their history with government and other governments worldwide.

Personally, emotional activism gives me the jutters because it ignores a lot of fact in order to appeal to our hearts. I agree that Kony neds to be stopped, but I'm doing my research before doing anything about it. You all should too, know what you're doing before you do it, blind activism is dangerous.

Quite a while ago a TV show, Penn & Teller's Bullshit went to a Greenpeace meeting and asked people to sign a petition against Di-Hydrogen Mon-Oxide. They got pages of signatures fortheir fake petition to ban WATER. This shows the stupidity of blind activism.
