A Month-long experiment with merging
I was planning on waiting until the end of the sequence to post this, but with that art block it's dragged on a bit (It started back on the 19th, after all! :O )
So as most everyone is aware, I have a bit of an obsession with TFs/merges "getting stuck". What can I say, I just find it fun/interesting to think about. But with the nature of drawing the "stuck" doesn't really last longer than a couple of drawings. I've often wondered what might happen if the characters really did have to deal with getting stuck for a lengthy period of time. So I made a bet of sorts during a livestream to trial a merge for a whole month.
So until around the 9th of April (incidentally, my birthday! :B ), any time I draw Kree he'll be stuck in this merge as
zeemf's head-hand. No escape for him for a whole month, with all the possible ups and downs that might entail. How will it turn out? Who knows, that's why I'm calling it an experiment :P
For those of you not interested in this sort of thing, I've intentionally left myself a loophole that this only applies to drawings about Kree, I will still probably be drawing other normal (or relatively normal, anyway) stuff I usually draw ;)
Naturally, I'd be interested in hearing any thoughts you peeps might have about this experiment :P

I think it sounds quite interesting :p. i will be interested to see what comes out of it. it really is interesting to think of, lol. I sometimes wonder similar things about things like ctf if it were to be a longer period xP. I hope that you will do more of these sequences in the future! this one was been most fun to watch unfold and have been rather good I dare say ^-^. Enjoy the month as a hand ;)

I know how you feel. I love the idea of getting 'stuck' in a transformation for long periods of time, but it can be hard to keep it going. You get new ideas, the appeal of the current TF fades...those merger TFs you draw are always very interesting, though. X3

Good thing you didn't do this back during SJM2 :P

I like "stuck" in merges, I've drawn recurring merges where it's implied the (mergee?) has been there awhile. :) Of course, this being my irl boyfriend he likes to strike back with his stories. lol

This actually sounds pretty fun!

That's a neat idea. I haven't drawn that to much although I am considering showing some more characters that have been together for an extended period. However, I have RPed it out a few times where we kept the scenario going for a month or two.
