I can't say I agree, sir. I have never been homeless and I don't suppose you have, so it's hard to say from experience whether or not that's true, but from what I know of homelessness it's hardly something anyone would CHOOSE to be.
Lots of people are homeless right now because of the bad economy. There are plenty of people out there who have made good choices in life who ended up homeless because of things out of their control. I became disabled in 2008 due to a condition known as lymphedema. It's hereditary in my case, my mother and grandmother both suffered from it. Because of this, I was unable to work. Getting disability from the government is a long, drawn out and very involved process if you A)Aren't a minority and b)don't have a ton of kids.
My mate and I struggled. He suffers from gender identity disorder and major depressive disorder. He has PTSD due to his GID. This causes him to have massive anxiety attacks. He can't work. I was the major money earner in the household. When I ended up out of work I had to go without unemployment-it only lasts so long. Disability was taking its sweet time. Kurz couldn't work. We had a mortgage to pay, almost $900 a month. Our savings were around 2k. We lost the house.
We had to live in a shelter for six months. We got lucky, my aunt found out about what we'de been through and helped us get our house back. Eventually, my disability came through and we were able to afford paying our bills. Things worked out for us but we were very lucky to have people there to help us when we were down and out. Unless you know the situation (and I DO suggest getting to know the situation before giving someone money) don't be so quick to judge. Every situation is different and you never know when you might be the one needing the helping hand, only to have someone say "People choose to be homeless by the choices they make in life" because while this is true for SOME homeless people, it's not true for all of them.
Why is everyone hating on ME3? @_@ Did I miss something. I picked up my collectors edition pre-order and had to wait a few days before I could have time to play, but so far I'm really enjoying playing the game. You're the third person today who said they weren't interested, so just wondering if something happened to make people not want to buy it??
I'm sitting right there with you dood, I'm having fun (though my friends tell me I'm easily impressed) but even so I'm hearing rumors the ending sucks and a friend of mind well somehow or other found out everything that is going to happen. I would like this cleared up without spoilers dood
Oh and I feel bad for the guy in this position because I'm facing the same thing myself
They probably are all pissy because of the harsh choices that are made and the ending mostly makes people mad despite the fact the most of it is a good game....people just can't enjoy a game no more....
Thanks for pointing it out :)
(Also, I'm baffled as to how I wasn't already watching Weaver)
(i'll doneate tomorrow when i get my payment)
