Marathon Man was an exciting movie, filled with twists and suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat most of the way through. Laurence Olivier was spectacular as the sinister Nazi dentist! Spotty sound design which resulted in muddy dialogue near the front half, along with a few plot holes that were only more apparent after you'd watched the film kept it from being a bona fide masterpiece, but overall it's something I'd watch again, I'd share with friends, and I'd make silly sexy noises after getting to see young Dustin Hoffman's nice looking ass. 8/10 for me! Since 'The Constant Gardener' was second place once more, it once more ends up among our top three contenders. Maybe it'll win this time, who knows? Coupled with it are going to be two films I've actually seen before, that I consider more or less masterpieces in their own way and would love to share with you guys if either one got voted, though I'd definitely like to see The Constant Gardener too.
