Terms Of Service
What I will NOT draw:
- Scat - Cub porn/young characters in suggestive situations
What I‘m NOT as good at: (please note, I will normally gladly take on a challenge if you want me to attempt to draw something I normally don’t, but have realistic expectations, please <3)
- Cityscape backgrounds - cars - machinery - inanimate objects without really good references - elaborate clothing (especially with ornate patterns) - sexual situations
If there is something about your commission that concerns me I will bring it up. Otherwise I’m fine.
Terms Of Service
It is your responsibility to read this before commissioning me
How to have me draw your character properly:
- The easiest way to get your character drawn correctly is to provide me with all the information I need to complete the commission. Everyone’s character is different and unfortunately I have not mastered mind reading (..yet.).
- Having a detailed reference sheet will be the clearest way to convey your character. If you do not have a reference sheet or this is the first time you are having someone draw your character I would strongly suggested that you consider commissioning me for a ref sheet (see my price menu for details)
- A carefully completed Commission Form will be your best friend.
Commission Form:
- If you want a commission and you have read my terms of service please send me a note containing a carefully filled out commission form.
- I retain the right to decline a commission if I feel for any reason that I will be unable to provide you with what you request.
- I will collect the necessary information I require (I may ask you to complete a commission form) to do the commission by requesting references or written descriptions till I feel I fully understand what it is you’re wanting to see. I will then provide you with a quote for the piece. The quote is flexible and may change if the details of the commission change. The quote will expire over a certain amount of time. So don’t request a quote if you know you won’t have money to pay for a commission within a weeks time.
- Once you have been given a quote consider carefully if there is anything you may have left out of your description. Once you have paid the information you have provided that I have based your quote on becomes set in stone and that is what I will use to base the commission off of.
Payment:
- Payment is required to confirm a commission spot.
- Once your form is approved full payment must be made before I will reserve your spot or begin drawing.
- Payment should be made in CANADIAN DOLLARS and through PAYPAL ONLY!
- If you submit payment through paypal in form of an e-cheque I will wait until the full amount has cleared before beginning the commission.
Refunds and Cancellations:
Payments for a commission are non-refundable unless:
1) I cannot complete the commission.
2) The art has not yet been started and there is an emergency where the client requires a refund. This will be discussed via note (in private) on a case by case basis.
Changing your mind about wanted a commission is not an appropriate reason to request a refund.
If I choose to cancel a commission because the client is rude or indecent in any way, I will not issue a refund.
Time Frame:
- Once payment is received expect your art to take anywhere from two-three weeks. This could be more or less depending on what you commissioned me for and how many commissions I have to do at the time. If someone commissioned me for a huge series of images, it might take me a little longer.
- If you require the commission by a certain date make sure to discuss this with me BEFORE submitting payment. Depending on the time frame you require sometimes I will be able to help.
- How long a commission takes me varies greatly and is dependant upon the complexity of the commission, how many commissions I have at the time you commission me and personal life.
- I will do my best to respect the order in which commissions are paid for in full. If Tony the tiger submitted his payment before you, I’ll get to him first.
- As much as it can be an inconvenience, LIFE HAPPENS. If my cat dies or my house burns down or my computer breaks your commission might take a little longer. In the situation where there is something that happens that will hinder my being able to complete a commission within the standard amount of time I will contact you and let you know and we could discuss how to approach a solution. This is not something that would happen often (or hopefully at all).
Progress Sketches:
- Progress sketches are something that I provide if I feel the need to. If I am curious whether I have gotten the pose right, need to confirm a detail or am just plain excited to show you! If I send you a progress sketch to confirm a detail I will wait up to 24 hours to hear back from you. If I don’t hear back from you I will assume there is not a problem with it and continue on. I have other commissions to get to and will finish yours and move on to the next.
- If you have spent over $60 on your commission you have my permission to request a progress sketch (though I would be likely to send one regardless). The same rules apply though, I will wait up to 24 hours after sending it to you before continuing on. If you have input make sure I receive it in a timely manner.
- PLEASE NOTE only minor changes may be made to a progress sketch and will be made at my own discretion. It is not an opportunity for you to change the commission completely.
***VERY IMPORTANT DETAIL*** My progress sketches are never to be posted anywhere under any circumstance. They are not for you to keep to color yourself or to send to all your friends or use it as your Facebook profile picture. If my progress sketches are used in any manner outside of you looking at it briefly to confirm progress on your commission the commission will be terminated without refund and I will not accept commissions from you in the future. I take this very seriously and I suggest you do the same.
Changes:
- If you are unhappy with a piece for any reason I would ask that you send me a note to discuss this.
- If a mistake has been made and it is my fault (ie, I overlooked something clearly stated in the commission form) I will make small changes to remedy this.
- I will not redraw the entire piece for you unless you agree to paying a fee. This being said, please make yourself familiar with my gallery and my artistic style.
-If you forgot to mention something that must be added after the commission is finished be aware that a fee WILL be charged. This is why you need to make sure you provide all necessary information before submitting payment for a commission.
- Under NO circumstance are you allowed to alter my original art.
