Starting this Tuesday I'm going to have the house to myself for a period of two weeks, and during that time I'm going to try and do as many commissions as people are interested in asking of me. Much like last summer I'm going to attempt do nightly Livestreams of my progress and would invite anyone with an interest to stop by and have fun. Right now my intention would be to accept only full color single character illustrations at $60 since that falls into a time frame which I can reasonably expect to accomplish per night, but if there's not much request then I'll try to change things up. As it is I already have some work which I need to get done for people and will try to work out a balance between taking on new work and concluding those outstanding pieces I've already accepted.

In other news, 2012 is shaping up to be an extraordinarily stressful and disappointing year. After returning from a wonderful mini-vacation with my daughter to Disneyworld on Tuesday the 13th, I found out on Thursday the 15th that my office will be shutting down October 1st leaving me stranded in the middle of rural Virginia with a house whose current market value is far below our mortgage. I've got a hell of a lot on my mind as a result and my nerves are quite raw. I'm exploring a LOT of options and with luck things won't be as bad as I'm currently envisioning. We'll see.
