You could always try to make one yourself. It will still be expensive, but way cheaper than commisioning. You never know if you're good at something until you try. But if you really would rather someone else to do it, find someone new. New makers are less expensive. I found someone who is willing to make me a partial for around $200 who is pretty good but still new. Found her on Youtube, so it's good to look at non furry specific sites as well.

I make fursuits for under $300. It's all a matter of resources, as well as finding bargains, coupons, and deals. :>

The fandom isn't exactly family friendly and we don't sell to kids so it fits our dimographic

Here's how it works out in my head:

Crafter 1:

Two Bitches Stitching- Low prices, decent quality.

Crafter 2:

"Name without vulgar word in title" - High prices, decent quality.

I'd go with the one without the vulgar word in it, even if their prices are higher because they already seem more professional to me. Losing just me as a customer will have no affect on you whatsoever. But, I can tell you as a fact that I am not the only one who feels this way. You can't please everyone, but you shouldn't drive people away, either.

It's your business to run and I hope you two succeed.

Well I can see what you mean. We both thought very long and hard on choosing this name for many reasons. Number one is because is unforgettable. Even people who do not like the name will still remember it one way or another. Number two, well we're not a business and keep it casual with low prices and do this as more of a service. We just gave away a free partial to the name we enjoyed most. We both got a kick out of it and if someone does not like it, then like you said, they can move on to a more professional place and pay for it in larger bills. A name is a name. We don't sell to kids and this is a good deferent for parents to not want their. Holden to have suits in this vulgar community. I've been to my share of. Omventions and honestly, I would not want my child there. Another reason is to defer people who can't take a joke. We would rather work with a commissioner who was fun loving and. Oils laugh at themselves. We're giant furry animals for crying out loud, it's stupid, childish and the most fun I've ever had in my life.

That is why we picked this name and it seems it is already doing its purpose.

Its not really about kids. Some ADULTS are sensitive to cursing, or even words like "dang". The latter is usually old people like my grandma though. Most people don't think of bitches as referring to female dogs. People generally tend to take the negative meaning of a word of dual meaning.

I don't think people are complaining but giving their opinions, which you saying you like the name is fine, but others who don't have a right to their opinion as well.

Its not about whether its adults or not, or even the fandom in general.
You should be just as professional making fursuits as you would be at any job where taking people's money is involved.
Soapy is my really good friend and I wish her the best, but I think this name choice WILL set a lot of people away, more than needed.

When I was picking the names as a title for your business, my thoughts were geared more towards what would be the bigger draw or get the most public attention I didn't care if I won or not. Of the choices I left with you there was one of professionalism, humor, and sarcasm. From what I've learned about a business you have to believe in it and really have a feel for what it is and what it can become.
The name "Two Bitches Stitchin" carries a weight that is both positive and negative. Positive in that you both liked it, you laughed, and you are solid in the work that you can create and believe in the business you both are building together. Negative in the publicity that not everyone will like the title.
Even so, with every negative that people spread the title will fall upon other peoples ears positive or negative. It is a catchy name and people will be curious even if it offends them, meaning more hits and potential business.
