When it Rains....It truly pours

I thought that after these events in my life

and a string of stuff that happened in 2010

Been debating not even writing this anymore but its become almost cathartic that my friends that care for me will see this and do what they have always done for me which I feel like a jack ass at times...
This week's Monday 3/26 my mom was complaining of numbness in her head and right side of the face, the right arm which and parts of the leg but my moms body she was able to move. Thought she was stressed and just not herself with everything that's been going on, and lack of food. Thee scary thing is after 1 hour, it still continued and worried me. Knowing First Aid I ran her BP and it was 256 over 122 with Heart Rate of 86. I called 9-1-1 to the house considering it was only an hour and my mother had already took Asprin just in case. They came to the house quickly where they put her on Stroke watch alert. (Even though Stroke does have atypical symptoms of paralysis and complete muscle spasms a soft mini strokes may have different ones which I have never experienced/seen full on.)
Long story short she went to the hospital and was admitted. Today 4 days after she was admitted (she doesn't have insurance so charity care and other legal matters are ahead of us to boot) but found out she had 2 mini/micro strokes and a heart attack (revealed to us through the EKG results)
I am still shocked but what kills it more then anything is that we are already hurting without the car, after the accident I was in. But now the medicine/doctors visits/in-hope physical therapists all going to cost ALOT of money. My mother is disabled since birth but for years she has been one hell of work horse. Wish our government could actually see this but they have their heads so far up their own asses and degrees tattooing their bodies with ignorant fulfilling political egos as toilet paper.....
The medication a month is going to cost our family $250 (at most)
The doctor visits for her are going to cost us $200 a visit x 2 a month
The in home physical therapist to help her use both legs normally again is going to be almost $200-300 a visit.... up to 4-8 times a month
so around 2,000 dollars+ cause my mother has no medicare/medicaid which we have been denied repeatedly.... Disabled since birth and she was denied for disability as well.
We were barely making it as is....with very few dollars after trying to fight the debt that brother incurred during life that we have to still pay back and only having one pay check cause I sadly haven't had a job for years now....[An aside: I still need to take care of my eyes after 4 years of not going to an eye doctor which is something I need to take care of soon considering I have been getting more and more headaches...]
Here is the part where if you want to help and do what you can, if not that fine too. If you want to delete/remove this journal that's fine, just go onto the next and etc. But if you can and choose to help my thanks to you and those that have come through, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

Now if you can't donate, you can spread the word for me. Journal in things etc. even word of mouth can be helpful.
I will be putting a discount on most of my stuff when I inventory things in the next two weeks so if you had your eye on something and still want it, message me and you may notice a big drop in price. (on some items)
Their will be commissions/sales opens on my art (even art deals) as well I have done so much that I haven't really updated my commission prices yet to make something look really pretty but alas I'll do my best to update that as well in the next few weeks...
It has been said that one person can make a difference in someone's life, they weren't kidding. *sighs and sniffles* I haven't been sleeping too well either considering worrying about my father who is disabled due to an assault in 2003.... and needs to be monitored and since my mom was in the hospital he could have taken on a seizure from being over-emotional.
Thank you for at least reading the title, and if you read more in, I thank you for continuing and if not, please if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it. For those that I have helped me before, you guys are incredible, and for those that will, just know that you are helping my mom who has been the work horse and even years of pain and dealing with so much stress, is finally in need of help. Thanks for hearing me out and know that you are going to help my family and ultimately this fellow furry...x.x ...
Yours as always, Azu, Azu Gabu...

See if you can get her to apply for disability again. Maybe now since the stroke she will be able to get it. It won't help you out now of course, it can take years (I am on year 2 of fighting for mine). But they DO give retroactive payments so once it finally goes through (I will keep my fingers crossed!) you'll get all the payments missed back to March 26, 2012 (if they determine that's when it started...) Trouble with disability I've been seeing is they rely heavily on medical records - so if you've been disabled for 10 years, but didn't see a doc because you had no money, you're SOL. This hospital stay and the followup visits will provide lots of medical records though!
And don't give up if they deny the first time - get a lawyer and appeal. My lawyer only gets paid if they approve me, and he gets 25% of my back payments. I'm ok with that!
Hang in there. *sends a hug*
Oh you bet that I wont give up, but she already went to the doctor last year to get the paperwork necessary for 2 and a half years to work on getting her into a waiver program. But I don't know any decent lawyer dealing with SS claims. A person like her should have never been denied to begin with....
Thanks Kittrel... But know its something that has been an insane ride. Still need help whatever people can do, its almost good that I been unemployed (hate saying that but its true) I have been able to help my family with my time and doing things that couldn't be done if I did.... *leans against said hug* x.x I need those in life. Thanks...
And yea she has been denied for 30 years....this is why I hope the state wakes the fuck up... *Growls* x.x
It's a group centered around spreading the word when serious trouble like this is involved, and they have over two-hundred watchers, many of whom probably aren't adverse the casting the net even further.
I don't know how well it will work, but it's a shot.
But I'm saying nothing; even if I didn't suck at talking, this isn't my story to tell.
