RHODE ISLAND FURBOWL CODE OF CONDUCT
Here are the ground rules for attending the Rhode Island Furbowl. These rules will evolve over time, but they are all pretty much common sense ideas.
ATTENDANCE:
Please RSVP to the corresponding journal announcing the event or contact myself,
CirrusSkyDragon, directly. Please let us know if you will be attending and if you are actually bowling. The alley must know how many people will be there, and we cannot have too many people showing up and not paying for using the lanes.
We reserve the right to refuse attendance to or remove anyone from the event for any reason. You are expected to follow the rules and regulations set up by the alley. Safety is the number one concern for all attendees, alley employees and other non-furbowl guests.
BEHAVIOR:
All attendees must be on their best behavior. You are not only representing our group, but the Fandom at large as well. Please keep all activity to a family-friendly G or PG rating. Any inappropriate behavior such as rough-housing, vandalism, excessive swearing, overly affectionate public displays of affection and sexually suggestive behavior will be restricted. If you witness anything that could be interpreted as inappropriate, please immediately contact either
CirrusSkyDragon or
shytiger. Do not wait until after the event is over. Those attendees whose actions are considered inappropriate will be talked to and may be asked to leave.
Please be courteous to the other guests of the alley who are not with our group. We want to make our event a positive experience for them as well as for us.
Please be courteous and respect the property, the employees and the rules and regulations of the alley. Do not go into restricted or employee-only areas without permission. Do not climb onto ledges, tables or any of the bowling equipment. This includes arcade machines and pool tables. Any vandalism or damage to any equipment and the cost for repairs or any appropriate fines will be the responsibility of the attendee. Attendees are expected to clean up after themselves in regards to litter.
DRESS CODE:
Do not wear clothing that is overly revealing or inappropriate, or you will be asked to remove it and change into something else. Tails, ears, collars and other furry accessories are allowed. The only exception to this rule is the use of leashes, and they will be removed if seen. Partial fursuits and full fursuits are allowed. If the staff of the alley feels that a costume or parts of a costume are inappropriate or unsafe, then the furbowl staff will make arrangements with the wearer to either modify or remove the item(s) in question.
ALCOHOL:
The alley does serve alcoholic beverages, and you are asked to drink responsibly and in moderation. All appropriate Rhode Island state laws regarding the consumption of alcohol are in effect. If anyone underage is caught drinking or if anyone is found purchasing alcohol for someone else who is underage, then the police will be called.
SMOKING:
Smoking is only allowed outside in the designated areas as set up by the alley.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY:
The organizers of the Rhode Island Furbowl and the alley will not be responsible for any personal injury due to negligence of the alley's rules. Any costumed attendees must relieve the alley of any responsibility when it comes to personal injury relating to or dealing with costumes and/or masks. The organizers of the Rhode Island Furbowl and the alley will not be responsible for missing, stolen or damaged personal items.
