She enjoys portraying herself as a half-aware and dimwitted beast, drunken in the stupor of her own bodily composure.Note: Originally I intended to submit two submissions that detailed these two dreams, as if they were stories. But since that idea sounds silly to me, I'm not really going to do that. XD
Here is the text of an old journal post of mine, where I wrote in detail about this 'two-part dream'.^^
Brief Warning: You WON'T find everything you read here to be comprehensible...

- I was in a darkly lit place that had many rooms and places that were at higher elevations.
- There were always several serpentine creatures that slithered about in the darkness, who would suddenly move at high speeds, and without warning.
- Every time I was most assuredly killed by one of these creatures, the view of the dream would mysteriously 'edit out' those moments, seeming to advance to some other random moment in time.
I'm playing a game console. There's a large storage media with a very special, very PATICULAR kind of data on it. But the problem with this storage media is that it's about 75% physically destroyed. Somehow, through some wholly illogical miracle of science, that didn't mean that the data was inaccessible, so now I find myself "installing" that data to the game console (oddly enough, the situation was that I was porting the data from one older, destroyed game console - that was a DIFFERENT game console - to THIS game console...).
Once the data had finished installing (which only took roughly 12 seconds), I found myself looking at some sort of "grid" of "as yet unlocked content" (much like those old "Playstation Underground" CDs for the PS1, where you could play game demos, and unlock additional playable demos). Strangely enough, the thing was, ALL of the content was locked, and through some profound method of interaction that even I myself can't comprehend (I'm dead serious), I had interacted with the on-screen information, and caused one transparent, blackened square to shift and wobble and move until it flipped itself around and had become, a much brighter cubical section, and soon began to display a sort of visual preview of whatever "content" its particular section of the grid offered.
More of the darkened cubes seemed to have followed suit along with this one, lighting up in what seemed like a particular pattern where only a cube that was adjacent to a previously lit cube would light up. And this, "branching" forth to create an obscure shape of "then unlocked content."
Strangely enough, most of the content seemed to only be some sort of textual documentaries. And I didn't have the slightest clue as to what they were about.
Eventually, there was a second cube that hosted a visual preview of its content. The images shown seemed to be some sort of "VS style fighting game," boasting a high resolution, crisp display of some kind of hand-crafted 2D sprite work (high quality 2D artwork obviously drawn by some unnamed artist). Since this cube seemed like the most interesting one, I "selected" it.
The first thing that happened is that the game screen had transitioned from a fluidly designed GUI to an entourage of stylistic menus, all of which were based around some sort of "deep customization options"...about a lithe, stylistically clothed (in a very modern fashion), dark-skinned human female character, who's facial properties seemed very remniscent of that of SNK Playmore's female boxer character from the game series called "The King of Fighters", Vanessa. Her opponent was a male character who was clothed in bland grays and bright whites, who wore something that covered his face, much like the hairstyle of the male "Guilty Gear" character named Venom, or the facial clothing design of the male "Blazblue" character, Hakumen.
For whatever kind of fighting game that it was that they were supposed to be a part of, the stage that they could fight in was rich in coloration, consisting mostly of lighter and darker greens, and oranges; teals, light blues, whites, and what seemed to be the overall interior design of a complex building, akin to something like a plaza in a shopping mall, with a transparent glass ceiling that allowed bright sunlight to pour down upon a hard white floor.
There was actual gameplay. It was like a mixed blend of KOF style fighting and a Guilty Gear-esque tactical maneuver system, making for a deep and innovative gaming experience.

When finished with this content, the following happened (And there was odd music playing in the background, and it sounded like something from out of a black sitcom):
[an oddly implying, static image shows a caramel complected, shirtless black male with an afro hair design looking up, his face seeming to be most unpleasantly disgruntled. A little bit of blood was sprinkled over his chest in large patches.
The display switches to another static image of what looked like the "Nine Inch Nails" "N - I - *backwards N*" logo, with a splattering of blood in its upper left corner.
Some sort of announcer had spoken in brief, incomprehensible detail about the black man from earlier, as if there had existed some kind of aformentioned, still developing story context that pertained to a television program that featured this "character."]

[In the following scene, I am forced to "unlock" the storage media's content yet again. For some reason, I had thought to input a very particular and rather obscure kind of button presses, which had somehow managed to unlock "secret" content, the subsequent brightening of cubes appearing in a way that was different from last time, where three cubes in all corners of the screen except for the lower right had lit up. Strangely, NONE of those cubes featured any actual content, textual or otherwise. But near the center of the grid was a lone, 'activated' cube that featured yet another vivid visual preview of what was like a character-based game with crisp 2D visuals. But this time, the gameplay was much more varied than that of the last cube, though noticeably less of an emphasis on high production values from a visual standpoint...at first.

The new VS style gameplay featured interactive environments where the characters could explore the playing field during combat.

Further exploration of this content eventually led into a moment in the dream where there was some sort of female character who was, in some unexplainable way, integral to my progress in this "game."
Later, the dream had transitioned from closely showing the display of the screen to what was the actual REALITY housing all of these events. I could see my own electronic setup for this oddly implying gaming console. Four very large display screens were mounted on a wall alongside one another, with a fifth display screen mounted on another wall that was near the rightmost screen amongst the first four, and a sixth screen mounted on a wall that was comparitively further away from the other five. At some point, the gameplay had ceased, and a live video featuring two 'stocky' men and a 'less stocky' man began. In this video, they carried on some manner of seemingly irrelevant banter about something that seemed to loosely pertain to...the Star Wars franchise? And subsequently, something strange occured, and was apparently connected to the mention of the hiding woman character from before.
It was all odd, but vivid... @_@
