She enjoys portraying herself as a half-aware and dimwitted beast, drunken in the stupor of her own bodily composure.
Just something random involving Chanda and Darren.
I'm thinking to expound more upon the story that surrounds Chanda. But for now, I just have some sketchy dialogue ideas. :P
Enjoy.
[narration conveying how Darren walks up to Chanda from behind and touches her back]
Chanda: ...What possesses a man's soul...that he would willingly approach the hunter without caution?
[narration conveying how Chanda turns to Darren, and about how she looks. Also about how Darren begins to feel when she merely looks at him]
Chanda: Speak your mind, lest I confer upon you the will of my own.
[narration in prose detailing a comparison between Darren and Chanda]
Darren: I...I did not intend to interrupt...~
Chanda: Then for what purpose do you make yourself known before me?
Darren: I...I had only supposed that I might speak to Sharimik's defender...; that I might...
Chanda: Heaven's remnants remain at bay, and your belly remains full. Is that not enough?
Darren: It...it is a noble thing, what you do for us. I couldn't help but notice your figure in the distance, and I thought I'd come by and say hello...
Chanda: Formalities. Are there not enough women of your own race to pass for that? Yet you come to me of all creatures...
Darren: I must thank you for your efforts. There is only so much that mere men can accomplish...
Chanda: Mere MEN? *she boomed* Oh the humor of it all!
Darren: What?
Chanda: For a man to utter such nonsense, he must be out of his mind. Understandable, of a foolish morsel that would approach a lioness with such unnecessary commendations.
[narration conveying how Chanda begins to manipulate his train, and also cause his blood to curdle]
Darren: Wh...what is...what are you~
Chanda: Although Heaven's broken provide me with health of nourishment and are flavorful to my palate, perhaps you too would like to sustain my appetite? Though you are mostly skin and bone, I am not above the idea of accepting a much simpler meal...
Darren: Wh-WHAT?!
Chanda: The only thing more delicious than a willing sacrifice is fear. Perhaps you would like me to put yours to rest?
I love the idea of a monstrous being conversating with a human... =^W^=
EDIT: I changed Chanda's second line of dialogue, and Darren's first one.
Old
Chanda: Speak your wish, lest I confer my own upon you.
Darren: I...I do not have any wishes...
New
