Request rules
I do take requests! And I try to do one every now and again too! :) I mainly do them because I see so many artists at my skill level are unwilling to. and personally, I think that's bullshit. I do art cause I love doing art. but remember I barely get by.
Here are the rules for my requests:
1. only one per person. Ever. Please don't try to cheat. I can't stop you, but that's mean.
2. You get what I give. this is a request. I do these out of generosity, and for the love of this community. commission me if you want specifics.
3. you will send it in a private note. this is how I keep track of them. Don't ask me "Are you taking requests?" just make a request. I'm not going to answer you otherwise. I repeat, Don't ask me "Are you taking requests?" alternatives such as "Can I make a request" Will fall on equally deaf ears.
4. asking for an update on it will most likely get it thrown off the list. If you are impatient, and want it now. pay me for it. otherwise you can wait.
5. tips are always welcome. but not required. while I don't want money for my skills I do need it, so please be considerate.
6. Check to see if there is a free slot before requesting. the slots are right below the link to these rules in my profile. if you see one open, make your request. if the slots are full, don't.
7. File submission is fine under the proper circumstances. You may submit the picture you get from me in your gallery. in fact I encourage it. it helps me when you do this. But the only rule is you do not take credit for drawing it.
8. One character only unless you have a really, really good idea in mind, I will generally only draw one character per request.

OP
I haven't been able to work on one in a long time. But I update it when I complete one.

So what's the correct way to ask you for a request, just give you a ref and ask if you can make something out of it?
