Ladies and gentlefurs:
Most of you know me as the fabulous red Persian feline that creates custom jewelry, offers advice and feedback to other artists, and some one that truly wants to help her fellow fur. For over a year, when I read journals about furs in real financial need, I am happy to lend a paw in spreading the word, offering some encouragement, or offering a commission (when funds are available).
Then I discovered other groups on FA that are doing the same thing to help spread the word. Groups like
Falendahand I joined and have done my best to be an active member in. I truly want to help promote how furs can help each other in these times of need.
Never head of the group
Falendahand before and want more info?

¯`·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.-> Today, it is my turn that I humbly request for your help. . <-.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.·´¯]
Overview:
A local fur to me is in need, my fiancee,
kitta1652 needs your help to afford a new transmission for his truck. His job, located an hour and a half away in Indiana, is threatened. He risks being fired due to his only source of transportation failing on him at any moment.
More specific details:
His vehicle's transmission suddenly goes into low gear when he applies the break even slightly. His vehicle slips and stays in low gear even when he presses the gas pedal to rev up the engine. This is a very dangerous situation with your top speed is 35 MPG on a 55-70 MPG highway. He has already used all his available sick days and time off to delay the inevitable.
He told his family and friends the full detailed version of this on Easter Sunday. He was hoping for a small miracle. Unfortunately, he does not have any friends or family members financially able to loan him the hefty $600+ he needs for parts/labor to replace the transmission. No one else has a spare vehicle to offer him due to his new work schedule shift that he started last week. He lives the farthest away from his job, so none of the current employees would be any help to offer a ride in the meantime.
Even cutting out all unnecessary expenses to just pay his bills, it would take 3-4 months+ to save up for the needed repairs. This is time and money he does not have since currently he barely lives paycheck to paycheck expecting to work full time (40+ hours), but has had his hours cut back to under part time over the last several weeks. Over half of his net income goes into paying the rising prices of gas at the pump, paying monthly liability only car insurance, and taking care of regular maintenance for his vehicle.
Kitta is currently looking for a new job with limited success. *long sad sigh*
kitta1652 is also known as Kitta the Grey Wolf - he is not very active on FA.

How you can help: Kitta's New Transmission Fund
1) Spread the word!
It only takes a moment of your time to spread the word via any social networking site like FA (Furaffinity), DA (Deviant Art), Twitter, FB (Facebook), MS (MySpace), LJ (Live Journal), Inkbunny, Sofurry, Artspots, VLC, and so on.
If you do spread the word on sites other than FA, please be aware that I do not have an account on most of these sites. Please screenshot the post/journal/page/etc, upload the screenshot to photo bucket or other photo sharing sites, and post a link to it to this journal. Thank you in advance. ^^
2) Donate!
Donate to his paypal directly as a gift at least one dollar (USD). Do not forget to check the box to "pay the fee" since every dollar raised helps so much~! If you did donate, please note me your e-mail address on paypal and I can thank you individually and personally. If you do not have a paypal and would like to donate via sending funds via check or money order directly to him via snail mail, please note me.
Paypal info: casey1652 (at) gmail (dot) com
3) Buy from or commission me!
Buy a pre-made piece from my current spring/summer collection of jewelry or commission me for your own custom piece(s) of jewelry.
I will offer 50% of the profit earned will go directly into Kitta's new transmission fund. Mothers day is under a month away too.
