You've probably heard that Fernando's Cafe, a fixture for Anthrocon members, is going out of business. What you might not know is that Fernando is in an awful lot of debt. Now that his business is closing, he has no way of paying it off. Uncle Kage himself is passing the hat for Fernando. Here's what Kage said in his own journal.

Fernando has become as much a part of the Anthrocon experience as the city of Pittsburgh itself, and it is hard to imagine another convention without him. He's facing a huge amount of debt and with his shop closing, he now has no hope of paying it off.
