Everyone who attended Anthrocon over the last fiew years know of Furnando's cafe just across the street from the Westin hotel, as one of the most popular food resturaunts at Anthrocon and who have basically rolled out the red carpet for AC Congoers for a number of years.
Well he is in bad financial trouble now due to the economy downturn, and sadly very likely to close before anthrocon in two months. (dispite his attempts to stay open for one more AC, resulting him falling into deeper debt.)

I donated to them already. *** If every one who attends Anthrocon donated just 5 dollars, that would save Fernandoes !

- Fernando has become as much a part of the Anthrocon experience as the city of Pittsburgh itself, and it is hard to imagine another convention without him. He's facing a huge amount of debt and with his shop closing, he now has no hope of paying it off.
