Gaming meet on 4/27 in Glen Burnie.
Cici's
26 Mountain Road, Glen Burnie, MD 21060
5pm, tables closest to the front window.
Just like always, we'll be meeting at the front tables, so we can push them together as more people arrive. If for some reason those tables are occupied, keep an eye out for anyone with a DS, tails, or that looks particularly nerdy. There's a good chance it's us. Bring around $10 for the buffet, which comes with a drink, pizza, salad, pasta, and dessert. We'll stick around til 7pm, and then transfer to my home (conveniently about seven minutes away) for more gaming.
I have multiple televisions and multiple consoles, and plenty of space for gaming. My 360 takes priority on the big-screen, and includes such games as Rock Band 3, Dance Central 2, various Kinect Games, perhaps an FPS or fighter. Other setups include my Wii (for Smash Bros. Brawl), an N64, a Dreamcast, an FC Twin (NES/SNES hybrid), and a big box of old-school games. Handhelds are always welcome.
Card/tabletop gaming is welcome as well, and previous meets have included Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, Dominion, Munchkin, Fluxx, and a handful of others. Be wary of others while setting up, since most card games take up a good bit of space, and you might have loud volume and people dancing/singing to contend with.
If there's something you'd like to play that isn't in that list, bring it! There will be at least one or two others interested in whatever you want to play. Tails and ears are completely fine, but fursuits are discouraged for space/attention reasons (gaming comes first, and not breaking things trumps furry shenanigans). I have a cat, so bring allergy medication if you need to. The meet lasts til triple-question-marks, and if anyone needs to crash, let me know ahead of time (and please bring necessary sleep items, such as sleeping bag/pillows/etc).
If anyone has any questions, or just wants to let me know they're attending, feel free to message me. And if you're unable to make it to Cici's, but would like to show up at my place later on, I can provide the address and my cell number.
