JAM IT - Beautiful and Terrible
I've had a fantastic idea. See, the 'version of me' worked out so well that I'm going to propose an idea and people can participate, or not, as they desire. I'm going to do a drawing which I will call "Beautiful and Terrible"
The idea is to choose something which is utterly villainous, and terrible, and try to make it beautiful without diminishing its terror. This means nothing cutesy (Disney and Nintendo villains are pretty much right out), nothing friendly, only beauty and terror. I suggest using mythology for a source.
I have my subject in mind already and will post it when it is ready. I encourage anyone else to do the same, let's see what we come up with!

this seems easier though, ill try it, and mythology is a great idea
so simply said its pick something ugly and make it seem pretty but it still has to stay ugly in appearance??
Elves are marvelous. They cause marvels.
Elves are fantastic. They create fantasies.
Elves are glamorous. They project glamour.
Elves are enchanting. They weave enchantment.
Elves are terrific. They beget terror.
The thing about words is that meanings can twist just like a snake, and if you want to find snakes look for them behind words that have changed their meaning.
No one ever said elves are nice.
Elves are bad.”
-Terry Pratchett, Lords and Ladies
I don't know if you've read any Pratchett, but I think that this is amusingly pertinent
(i.e. Medusa)
She may be disney, bu that Pulling the Skirt up scene was still terrifying xD
Here's my endevour;
Scylla and Charybdis.
Dunno if it's all that scary or lovely... ah well.
