Good to hear.
Even if he's forced to close by his landlord for that guy who was eyeing the place, at least we gave him a tidy nest egg to eliminate his business debts and keep him afloat for a bit.
Very heart warming, I really hope it helps him stay open and that the other buyer will back out n let him keep the place. Congrats everyone on being so kind hearted and generous. I look forward to eating at Furnando's a few times this year at AC n totally would die to get a hug from you Kage ^///^
That's great news! Furries make a difference. I think this will bring us into a better light. I wish I could have gone, but my funds were tied up into Wild Nights and the Safari's Zoo Charity. People cleaned up the camp site better than it was before we came and made a good impression in Oklahoma. AC is coming up. I have plans on attending. I'm glad that Fornando will be there so that I may get my lasagna wrap. And, I'll see you there with a surprise for Hello Bully.
Now we have yet another thing to throw in the face of those who claim furries are just weird and do no good..
Furries all over the world chipped in to raise a few bucks to keep Fernando's going untill AnthroCon 2012, and it resulted in almost 24.000$, to a guy who have become a friend of the furry fandom and who have become a part of the AnthroCon experience. To a guy, who we have waay too few of in the world.
Hopefully the economy will improve and his non-AC clientele will pick up so that he remains successful and in business permanently. And hopefully the generosity of the furry community will continue for the sponsored charity this year!
Fernando's must be epic awesome.... I wish I was in the US to try it myself!! XD I hope he stays and will be there in the future when I can afford to fly so far!
It's nice to see furries giving so much though. I wish Fernando the best of luck!

He might be gone next month, but at least his bills get paid.

We need more guys like him...

Definitely proud of our furry community right now. :)
