Donate! Help Yukito Get a New Walk in Life!
This is Yukito.
Yukito the 9 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi was recently diagnosed with Degenerative Myelopathy (DM for short). This is a genetic disease that effects the nerves of dogs, starting with the back legs. Corgis are especially vulnerable to it.
I originally thought, "Okay, back legs are going, time to put him down." Yet my vet and multiple colleagues informed me that - since Yukito is incredibly healthy otherwise - he's eligible for a cart. He is expected to live 3 to 6 years or more with a cart.
After about a month of research, I have decided to get him a K9 West cart:
Dog in K9 west cart.
K9 west website.
Carts are rather hefty in price. The one I'm looking at will run me roughly 374*.
So I'm opening up a donation pool to the kindness of you guys on FurAffinity.
If I make at least half of that off of donation (~190), both Yuki and I will be in good shape.
Please send donations to me through paypal at Quaidis[at]gmail.com Put 'donation' in the message head.
But that's not all! If you're someone who just can't donate without something in return, I will be willing to do a commission for you at the prices of 10$ for a sketch, 25$ for an ink, or 50$ for a digital color. Please note me ahead of time with details of what you want before sending the money.
And I'm still not done!!! For the duration of this donation pool, for anyone who donates, I will personally draw a corgi for you however you want**. Just state in the paypal comments of your donation how you want to see your personal corgi drawn and I'll get right on it!
Thanks for tuning in and any help you may give!
*Any money that is donated to me over the pool amount will be donated to a wheelchair-for-dogs rescue (such as Corgis on Wheels).
**limit one corgi picture per donation. Ideas for corgis must be PG-13 in nature and cannot contain scenes of yiff. There is a waiting period of 3 to 5 days from donation to corgi picture awesometude.
The pool is currently at: 75$

Unortunately, I am broke and will be sleeping under a bridge soon.
I wish you the best of luck.

Saw the website too, Yuki will have a lot of fun running around again with her new wheels.. You might even have to paid racing stipes on them
Haha, actually. The cart is hopefully going to be decorated over by some pirate friends of mine after I receive it. So he'll be in a specially designed pirate cart with a little flag off the back or something.
I'll still try and send something more tomorrow as thats when I get officially paid.
