Voice Acting auditions are always open!

I've been getting a bunch of taps on the shoulder followed by ankle-shuffling asking whether I'm still accepting voice-acting. I sure am! Infact I never plan to stop accepting them. It's also a good idea I update my VA guidelines to make the process a little easier!
What you'll need!
- Something to record it! I recommend Audacity, you can download it for free here! http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
How to record it!
- All in one file, preferably in either .wav or .mp3, though any format is fine.
- A small pause between each line so that I can easily cut them out.
- Often won't need more then a minute of total recordings.
- What kind of character would you like your voice used on? Are they a giver or a taker? Young or mature? Petite or bulky? Aggressive or submissive? Cock-sure or "Cock? Sure!". Have some fun with personality types. If you want to voice several characters you can! Just separated into different files.
What to include!
- >10 sounds for your character experiencing something sexual at a slow and sensual pace. Steady breathing, faint moaning, anything you like. Slow loops tend to be between 2 - 4 seconds before they reset.
- >10 sounds for your character experiencing something at your average sexual pace. Keep in mind that recordings may overlap if they are too long for an animated loop, so a consistent length is ideal. Steady-loops rarely take longer then 2 seconds to reset.
- >10 sounds for rapid sex. Moaning is as wild as they'll get, short sporadic panting, approaching climax. Fast loops tend to be no longer then a second.
Optional:
- >5 sounds of your character during climax. Cum-transitions are rare but it doesn't hurt to have recordings ready.
- >5 idle breathing/exhausted sounds. An idle-animation occurs after a climax.
How to send it!
- Email Jasonafex[at]hotmail.com with your FA username and your recordings attached!
- Describe how you would like your loading screen button to appear, otherwise I'll use your current FA avatar along with the two primary colours surrounding it.
- You can also note me with an external link such as dropbox!

My mic is currently built into my laptop :/
I'm guessing that's how everyone so far has done it? o_o
- Go to the top of Audacity if you're using it and select the Effects tab.
- Look down the list until you find Noise Removal
- Highlight the second of ambient silence in your recording
- With the little Noise Removal window up, click Get Noise Profile. This helps Audacity recodnise what you don't want in your recording.
- Highlight your entire recording and click remove noise. There is a slider you can use if you supress your audio too much and it begins to effect your voice. A faint amount of background noise is better then muffled voice.

You had said that no more than a minute's worth of total recordings were needed, correct? Does that minute's worth of recordings include ALL 30 sounds (sans the optional 10 listed) with the description of the first, second, and third set of 10 sounds, or just 10 sounds of our choosing from one of the three sets? Considering that there has to be small pauses between each sound, I couldn't help but think that attempting to voice out all 30 sounds in one recording might be longer than a minute to do so.
Other than that, this is very useful and detailed information. :) The only things I'm missing are a proper mic and Audacity (I had it at one point for another class at college last year, but had deleted it since I was done with the class and didn't see any need for having it anymore). I'm really interested in doing the VA auditions for your future animations coming up!
It would probably take a couple minutes to record a bit of everything. Less than ten is also a rough number, can be more or less, whatever your comfortable with (No less then 5, otherwise it will sound too repetitive).
Already mentioned how to send them and in what formats :S. Either as one file or a couple.
When I get my hands on those I'll let you know and redeliver my lines.
When I do get to it be sure to let me know if you would like me to do more than what I did or a little bit more of something specific than the other... If that makes any sense.
(it's probably obvious but I think I would fit well as a taker, especially one being taken by a herm... Perhaps even a scary/somewhat intimidating one, don't you think?)

What about sound effects though? I've felt that, no offense, sometimes the sound effects are not quite on par with the voice acting.

If I get some time soon I'll submit some of my own, I have a headset I use for recording other things and I imagine the quality should be fine, I'll send you them when I get them.

Have you ever gotten a request on an animation commission to use a specific person's voice? For some reason I feel like an animation with my (and/or my partners) actual voice(s) would be really interesting!
