Urgent! Computer is dead. ******

So... as the title states my computer is dead. I'm writing from my phone, apologize for any weird sentences or errors.
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE JOURNAL ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE COMMISSIONED ME!
If you've been following my past journals you know I've been having issues with it.. thankfully I had gotten it to at least stay on longer and try to rush through my commissions list without botching anything... I thought it would hold up until after I had finished saving for Anthrocon in a few weeks. Unfortunately.... it has not... It most certainly died a long slow death.
I turned it on only for it to not turn on.... I had a bad feeling right then.. Sooo I left it, tried turning it on. It turned on, but the screen conti ued to stay black. It wouldn't load no matter how long I left it. Turned it off, fiddled with battery, had CJ look it over...and it kept coming up with a certain error, wouldn't load then will die... -sigh-
So...needless to say.. I can't finish my commissions... I won't be able to do... ANYTHING without this compute.. or access to a computer. X.x however I do NOT have the funds for a computer or any backup computer that's cheaper and able to be used... BUT I WILL BE GETTING COMMISSIONS DONE! My amazing friend, Sharpiesabre has come to my side and agreed to help finish off commissions. So you will still get you commissions. I will work with her best I can to still finish them. Rigt now the only access to art I have is pen, paper, markers etc... So I'm hoping I can at least sketch out bases and continue to do at least a portion of your work!
I already feel absolutely terrible.. I didn't know it was going to die THAT soon.. I was almost done with a lot of the commissions and still plugging away at others. This is also why I haven't been on as of late. I can check messages etc from my phone however! If there is any issues PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me or sharpie know,
if you can't get ahold of me on here or skype(loads on my phone) he can always reach me!
I can hardly....believe I've lost my files either... most if not all are gone.. or corrupt or lost or infected with who knows from file sharing etc.. which means even trying to xfer them to a new computer can be risky if they'll even load.. CJ is still looking into it but... it appears to me hopeless..
In regard to this.. Sharpie as well as another close friend have offered their aid. I will be trying to run a fundraiser / auction / raffle of sorts for artwork, badges, kandi cuffs and bracelets, poses, I can open fursuit partial slots etc. As long as it isnt computer work, unless offered by my friends who have... I just...am.. grateful so very very grateful to them.. it kills me to know my computer is gone.. I can't finish my work... your work, any work.. photography.. pictures art lost.
I will be posting another journal soon about this auction /fuundraiser. It will icnlude numerous types of artwork to be offered as prizes, thank yous for donations etc. A LOT of things. I just am going to get it all set up prior to running it.. again.... I know people are surely angry at me.. I wish it hadn't died and lost my things.. trust me.. so I don't blame people if they come to me wanting a refund etc. I just am going to try and get through it, and work with sharpie on those

Maybe something got knocked loose inside the laptop.
Was the laptop old? Or was the hard drive old?
Did the error say something like "grub error missing os"?
Also, see if you can salvage the art & files you need to another HDD. :D
Keep in mind, I'm attempting this from my phone >.>
Check the heat compound on your processor. After some time, it will wear away and cause the computer to shut down after being on for a short period of time.
The compound is fairly cheap. Usually about $10.
Beats getting a new MB for $50+.
I might be able to help you.
Also, if your able to do a couple of traditional badges for AC let me know. My mate and I are going. If your still open for these I would be willing to pay to have both done. If it would help you out any. Just let me know.
