Well that baseline and guitar riff very much reminds me of Prodigy's "Climbitize" http://youtu.be/ZVFsW18obWc?t=1m36s , and the base is kinda similar to "Smack My Bitch Up" which is a song you should totally listen to if you haven't.

Still don't know the song, I'm sorry for that. But I know that it takes a while for good composures to take a while to surface ;)

Anyways, they had a song + .gif ( http://demonexterminator.ytmnd.com/ ) on the site that was shrouded in mystery for a long time: it became a site-wide meme, taking the form of Tenacious D banishing the devil: and no one could figure out the song.

A lot of parodies took place, (my favorite being the 'dog-barf to mystery song:' http://woofwoofwoofbarf.ytmnd.com/ ) until finally after like 2 months, someone found it.

Yeah, I just threw it out there. *shrug* There are a million songs called "When You Were Mine" and "If You Were Mine".. all by different people. It sounds like it would be the name of the song, unless they are one of those bands that name their songs after random things that aren't mentioned in the song. I'd just ask the guy who made the video.

The guy who made the video, Nickn5, is from the UK. So i'd research UK bands with "you were mine lyrics" and see what comes up.

If someone has that software on your phone, you can just hold your phone up to the speaker and it should be able to find the song.
