Princess was kind of a surprise to everyone - especially since she's 8 years younger then Duchess (and thus 10 years younger then Queena, 12 years younger then Contessa, and 14 years younger then Duke).

Being that Duchess was still being over-watched by Helena at the time, she was not give as much attention as Duchess. And the others had already grown up / out a bit more.

Growing up she was a really good kid, liked to draw and paint, make music etc. She really had a hard time finding herself. So, she did what any other kid that feels like they've been neglected do: They act out.

So she started to act out at school and things, getting her into a 'bad crowd'. By then Duchess was growing up, so Helena could devote more time to her Princess, but alas - the damage was done. Soon, she was staying out all night and would come home with a new piercing or two.

It wasn't until she got the bars across her ears Helena became "concerned" with how many piercings Princess was getting - but by then (most of) the damage was done.

The latest and Greatest is the one she got herself for her 18th Birthday. Had to go to the big city and get it done by a top-notch specialist. But now she tries to show it off whenever she can.

She has gone through some style changes- there was a punk time, a goth time, and now she's started to settle into her own style - she likes Metal.


Helena does try to connect to her youngest, but Princess is just too much of a teenager to allow it. She's all bluster, and fight, and righteous indignation. She carries a small lump if hate in her heart, from her mothers neglect. She'll smile and put on a good face when she has to, but will still rebel when it suits her.

For her siblings, well it depends. She finds Duke okay, but... still a dork. Yes, he's sexy and rich and into extreme things today, but she knows him. They were never really close,and he had his own life to live when she grew up. So, they are effectively estranged.

For Contessa, Princess and she get along pretty well. Contessa is the 'coolest' older sister, and she has her wild side so she and Princess get along okay most of the time. Contessa's healthy eating and healthy habits don't jive with Princess and they'll get into shouting matches about staying in school or not - but mostly they get okay.

Queena thinks she has a great relationship with Princess, but Princess see's Queena as a lazy sponge and comes over and makes nice to steal from her or sponge off the sponge. When Prin gets in real trouble, she goes to Queena to hide out -cause Queena would cover her for anything (more then once she's been a good alibi).

Out of all her family members, Princess carries a special grudge against Duchess. It was Duchess that 'stole' Helena away from her growing up, and from Princess's view, it Duchess that always gets all the money and the love and the attention. So there is a heavy dose of hatred towards her sister. If she didn't have to pretend to make nice with her, she wouldn't. There have been more then one drunk night where Princess has contemplated horrible things for her sister.


And while troubled, she is also very young - her future is not yet written, and she still has vast quantities of potential for herself.
