Why is there a * after each time you say trans? Regardless, I like the idea but don't know how to help. >.<

It's more inclusive than just trans. Trans is generally short for transsexual or transgender. While transgender is an umbrella term, trans* includes genderqueer, agender, gender fluid, etc.

it's not that hard. Since it's too late to be on the schedule make a post on the bulletin board and let others know where the meet & greet is located and once everyone is mostly there just chit chat and also talk to everyone all about what your meet and greet is about. So explain that this is for furs that is a transsexual, transgender and or transitioning over to a transsexual to come here and meet others like them so they don't be afraid of expressing who they really are and or what they want to do, as well get ideas off others so they have an idea on how to go about it as well. That is how I would do it if I was hosting that, but I'm already hosting a panel for the furst time for all the Noobs for furcons.

Sharky & Panda wouldn't allow me to host my panel that I originally had in mind: Whose Furry Line It Is Anyway? I had seen the show like how many umteen times, as well as wrote things down on note cards, and rehearsed it over and over and was ready for it till Sharky told me the other options until we both agreed on one that he thinks that I can host.

I did a Whose Line Is It Anyway back at FAU '08. Haha. I plan on putting it on the bulletin board as well. I asked the trans* communities here to put a signal boost (which is where I guess you saw this?).

I'll be at AC and I'd like to attend, but I've never had the chance to go to any kind of meetup at a con before since I work Dealer's Den and things usually conflict. I'll keep an eye out though. Hopefully I can attend this time.

On a slightly related note. Meeting up with a transgender group in Charlotte on Saturday. I am not sure what folks do at the meetings, but guessing general socializing, then dinner.

I'm thinking...5 or 6pm on maybe Friday? Or Sat? Not quite sure. Also need to look at what time the dealer's den closes.

On Friday I'm pretty booked. For Saturday I'd be free between 3 - 7 (the parade ends, and before Uncle Kage's Story Hour).

Maybe Saturday at 7 then. After 6 the Dealer's Den and Artist's Alley is closed by then. 7 gives people enough time, I think.

If it's at 7PM it'll be during Kage's show. It lets out at 8:30PM.

I'll be meeting up with some fursuit makers for dinner around 7PM. I am not sure when it'll let out, but I wouldn't have to stay the whole time. If you did something after 8 on Friday I'd be free.

As long as it's after the artist alley closes I'll totally be there. I can't leave my table during alley hours, but I'd love to hang out for a bit afterwards. I'm not in the alley on sat though, so anytime on Sat is fine. :3
