~ Guidelines for Using My Art ~

HUGE Kudos to the folks who've purchased slots in my ongoing Sketch Blitz. Every little bit helps. Please understand that the entire purpose of this is to raise funds enough to get my bills paid on time. My husband and I got hit with a huge out of pocket tax bill from the IRS because of the job I held last year, and we're still trying to make up the difference. Thanks to those of you who've bought art already, I am closer to paying that bill, but I'm not quite there yet.

I know this is a bad time of year, especially as folks are planning to head to Anthrocon, but if I could come up with another $500 minimum in sales the next SIX DAYS, we might just squeak by. Please, I don't usually ask for much from the community at large, but this would be a not-so-small miracle for us if it happened. Anything helps. Anything at all. If $15 is too much to scrape together, I'll still doodle you something for less. At this point, almost any amount would get you something from me. Even passing word on to others is appreciated. I need your help, guys.

I am trying so hard to be calm about all of this, but I'm terrified of what may happen if we can't come up with the money in time. x_x I've had no luck finding new employment aside from one-off gigs with CK and I feel like I'm teetering on the brink of disaster. Even if I found a new job today, it wouldn't be in time to pay things. This is my only recourse right now. That being said, I've been getting through these fast, so you can expect a few days wait time at most for your art if you purchase a slot.

But... But you're a traditional artist! What does digital only mean? It means that I still draw your piece on paper, longhand, but you get the high rez scan of it when the sketch is finished, just like if you commissioned a digital artist. Cleaned up pencils from me normally run about $25, so this is a significant discount! I can work in either graphite or blue lead, your choice. Please note, these are $15 per character, much like an Iron Artist. Pieces may include some simple props or background stuff, but please, nothing overly complicated. Some limited color may be possible. Just ask. G through Adult ratings are okay. Themed stuff okay! Check my gallery and scraps for the sort of stuff I normally draw or just ask if you have questions. What can you expect your piece to look like? Something like this:

Because of the nature of my situation, I MUST ask for payment up front on these. Your slot will be confirmed once I've received payment. I will keep a public listing for the blitz so you can all see where things stand. How can you snag a slot? Glad you asked! Payment options are:

Amazon Payments (money transfer or credit card)
SquareUp (any credit card, phone or Skype transaction)
AlertPay...Payza? (who the hell knows, lately, but I have an account)
SnailMail check, money order, or hidden cash (at your own risk, slot will be confirmed when I have funds in hand)

***PayPal*** This one, I have to explain. I do NOT have an account, but

yurikokinai has graciously offered to take payments on my behalf with his account. Because of the exchange rates involved, this is conditional on the buyer covering the transaction fees, and for the love of god, don't mention FA or furry porn in the notes if you choose this option. He doesn't want his account locked, and I can't blame him for that. Please get in touch with

yurikokinai if you wish to pay via PayPal, and he will confirm for me anyone who chooses to pay this way.

Reply here, note me, or email zannah[at]rainbowsaber.com to work out payment. I'll be open for slots until I either reach my goal, or there's no more interest. These are designed to be sketches I can do quickly so the turnaround time will be fast. For anyone interested in upgrading to a more finished commission later on, you will have the option to do so (at a discount) once the Blitz is over.

PEOPLE ALREADY IN MY QUEUE: Those of you already in my regular commission queue are still a priority, particularly if you've already paid me for the work. I've tried to get updates out to most of you who've been waiting on things from me before posting this. The sketch blitz is to help raise funds in addition to the regular queue, not in place of it.

I'd be more than willing to get a two-character piece if you're still in need of monies. Never used Amazon payments for furry stuff, though. If it's similarly easy to use as for Kickstarter, I'll have no problem :)

Definitely still taking these! =) Amazon's pretty easy. I've never used Kickstarter, so I don't know how similar the two are, but if you go to http://payments.amazon.com, you can sign in with your regular Amazon.com account (which you'll have if you've ever purchased something from them) and then it should let you use a credit card or hook up a bank account. It only works in the US, though. I can also do any major credit card with SquareUp, and that does work internationally. That one just requires making a Skype call and reading off the numbers to me so I can punch them into my terminal, like any phone transaction. =)

Whoops, almost forgot about this. Sorry about that D:

Kickstarter uses Amazon Payments to deduct funds from a credit card, so I figure it's similar to what you do if you're using it for a commission... but you said it doesn't work outside the US, so we'd probably have to go for SquareUp instead (or work with your friend so I can transfer the funds using Paypal, but I'm okay with using my credit card). Me reading out the numbers shouldn't be too much of a problem, either, if you can deal with a German accent. x)

Ahh, ok. =) Yeah, I've had a couple international folks have trouble signing up for a personal Amazon Payments account to send money to the states, which is why I've been using SquareUp for international commissions instead. I usually have pretty good luck with accents. =) My Skype name is zannyvixen. I need to go make breakfast and do my morning run at the moment, but I'll be around a little later on.
