Anthrocon 2012 Report - Friday

So I derped and woke up late Friday, missing the filming for 
's music video. Instead we just grabbed breakfast and headed straight for opening ceremonies. We met up with 
and 
and their Florida friend 
. We sat in the very back for opening ceremonies, enjoyed the standard Uncle Kage humor and then headed down to the dealer's den. I got myself some lovely neon green and black cuffs and a collar from Lagardo, who is a really cool guy if you ever get the chance to chat with him. I also picked up my new disgustingly awesome Gale bade from 
and a copy of Red Lantern.
After a little while down there I grabbed lunch with
and 
and we sat with some strangers in the Westin lobby and had a wonderful chat. Then I had to scurry along and change into some sneakers for the second annual Last Fur One Dance Workshop. The crop of talent this year in that room far surpassed last year, so it's nice to know everyone is improving and showing interest. I myself did 
and 
's lesson on Groove and Rhythm. I'm already pretty good at upper body rhythm but it was very helpful for lower body. Plus they're both super sweet and wonderful teachers.
I headed upstairs, grabbed some things and booked it back downstairs for my own panel, "Advance Fursuit and Mascoting" with and 
. We set up 40 chairs, and way more than 40 people showed up, it was awesome. I had a blast running the panel and I hope all my attendees had a good time and learned a lot.
After thatI grabbed a quick snack and drank. Do to the dehydration and malnurishment the con tends to bring for avid suiters, I got drunk really quick and threw on my suit. :ark-adustus: and
joined Kavi, Pherric and me and we headed to the dances.
Due to a wiring problem they were running late so we used that time to do a photo shoot with Dragonscales, which was very fun for both us and him since he knew we were drunk.
Finally the dances opened up and it started with Firr, who kicked sooo much ass. And then Protocollie, Oddy and BBF. Basically the best night of dancing for the entire con.
Heading back to the room was hilarious in itself thanks to some very very drunk guests who won't be mentioned. That's a story for just Kavi, Pherric, Ark and myself to share.
We eventually went to bed, well I did, maybe not everyone else. :P
