possible hospital trip in my future.
well at least for this evening / night whatever you want to call it.
started hallucinating at work tonight :c
since the air conditioning is "broken" at my store, my co-workers and I have to deal with it. The heat had already been getting to me today and yesterday (yesterday not so bad cuz I went to a water park...) but when I clocked in today, the inside of the store was 90.2* according to the therm. we use to do temps. It was really busy and shortly after it got busier, I started feeling neasus, and then lost "my lunch" we'll say. that happened I think over 4 times? I couldn't hold food, drinks, and even straight up water...then around 5pm I took the temp again and it was 87.8*. I had 3 asthma attacks in the time I clocked in and clocked out as well. My inhaler of course didn't want to help me at all....
right around the last hour of my shift things got really scary.
felt like a weird trip...
still does a little bit. I'm a lot more coherent now that I'm sitting down in front of a fan....
Big brother is still on hold though if I start getting sick again...
blah :c

but thanks hon
My advice would be never work on the grill line. Tonight alone I was in a 123 degree kitchen over deep fryers, grills, and open flames for well over 6 hours. Not the best place to be in your case I would say.
Hope you feel better
thank you though
After re-reading some things, I agree with the comments below. You're probably suffering from severe dehydration and you should probably go to the hospital even if you're feeling better.
Heat stroke/sickness in not something to take lightly =( and not something any job should subject their workers to (unless you choose to work in that environment such as working an outdoors job)
But really go, get yourself checked out especially if you start vomiting/short of breath/dizzy/faint/cognitively impaired or the hallucinating comes back. =(
I probably should have gone to the hospital though. I'm going to a clinic after work today to see if they can do anything. (not same job as stated above)
How are you doing now?
my mom helped quite a bit. I took some ibuprofin for a headache I woke up with, and I'm going to a clinic today to see if they can do anything, or see if I'll be ok.
Really want to avoid a hospital since I'd be in serious debt if I went cuz I have no insurance... :C
I can't say I blame you for wanting to avoid the hospital; even something minor can be very, very expensive if you don't have insurance.
