Artists! Want to draw Romans?
EF has an awesome theme this year, the Roman Empire, and I always love their con book. I'm working on a few pictures right now, but it is in need of more art!
It doesn't matter if you attend the con or not, if you'd like to draw something nice for the book that fits within the theme, that'd be great! I'd love to see more cartoon art in there, personally, but ofcourse all styles are welcome :D
Here is all the info you need:

(please read! If you do a smaller illustration that doesn't fill an entire page (with a plain bg), it needs to be a png with a transparant background)
Please do note that the deadline is in little over two weeks!

Actually you should sumbit some of your cartoon art, it's delicious, and doesn't take as long to paint, haha!
um.. do you have to be in europe? lol didnt say that but I still wonder if they might care :3
Even if I dont make it into the book, I think roman stuff would be very fun to draw :)
Thanks for sharing!
(wow more comments than I expected, if you all draw I hope there'll be enough space in the con book XD yay!)
Certainly something in Roman armor. I'm not sure what to draw though.
I don't know! Usually I just read some wikipedia pages or books on the subject and the ideas come right away. But I've always been interested in the Roman culture, so yeah :)

If I have the time though, I wouldn't mind doing a boar senator in a toga.
One thing though, they generally have pretty high standards for the artwork, as in that it has to look finished and fit the requirements. I like the sketchy look but if it were to be used as a filler illustration, the background has to be transparant, and I'm not sure if they'd prefer inked work. (the link I wrote in the journal should have all the specs)
Not sure if they're using it at the con at all, it was used on flyers and on the website.
Maybe I'll do a little one :)
