Anderson Cooper and the Furries: The way back Machine

So Anderson Cooper has made news lately having come out of the closet, and so alot of furries are obviously for this as it is someone in a high position coming out of the closet, and doing so in a way that wasn't to too much fan fare other then by the news of course. He obviously didn't have some big party or anything.
However, I still have a major issue with Cooper and that was the almost now comedic hypocrisy he made on his show when two segments were taken together:

Note I was a little bit more agitated on the events then than I am now, so there will be language in the above post.
Now that he's come out of the closet my statement and his hypocrisy are now even more glaring. I'm sure if I "google" gays, as he suggested to do to find out about furry, I'm going to find some unsavory stuff... Guess you're doing more then just doing news reports, if you know what I'm saying.
As I've always said, being an ignoramus knows no sexuality. Good luck to you in the future Mr. Cooper, and may none do to you what you did to this fandom... at least not on a cable news network as an anchor.
