This review is about Elfen Lied that I had watched on Netflix. It is 13 episodes long and they are a good 26 minutes long.

To start out with, the opening song is really touching. It is soothing and I think it actually suits the whole show. There is a good reason for it so you got to pay attention you silly furs you. :P

The whole series is a real thinker. It is one where you have to think of the details that are important in each episode because otherwise the ending will not make sense. There is a lot said by each of the main characters that is important...you just have to figure out what the important information is.

It is about a character named Lucy that isn't exactly human as you will find out when watching the series. She befriends two human beings even though her nature is to actually eliminate all of human kind.

Everything starts out kind of fast so it leaves you confused and wanting to know more. As you watch more of the series, you start to understand what exactly is going on and how certain characters are related by certain events.

I have not gotten so emotionally into any show or movie before this series. It really drew me in and I connected with the characters. For the last episode I actually had tears in my eyes for what was happening.

If you like romance, sci-fi, drama, puzzlers, and no child porn than you would like this show for sure.

I give this show 5 out of 5 tail hugs *squee*

Now mind you...not all shows will have 5/5...but this one and the last one just really touched me.
