It's been a month, I know, but my personal life has been a little cluttered lately. Way too many birthdays, so many that I forgot my own.

This time I'm bringing you some American Metalcore, given that my last American sampling was... what it was, I felt that I owed it to the home of so much good metal to show off something a little different. Here's proof that Eminem isn't the only one performing in a genre that isn't typical for their ethnicity, and be good at it. (I'm looking at you, Van Winkle.)

Say Hello to Alexis Brown. No, not that self-entitled American Idol washout. This Alexis fronts for Straight Line Stitch and has serious chops, happily jumping between growl and croon as the song demands. And, like many of the gals I feature, she's fairly easy on the eyes. Okay, she's no Simone Simmons, Christina Scabbia or Sharon den Adel, but she's still a looker in my books. I couldn't much out about our feature gal though, and I try not to dig too far. If an artist want's a little privacy, I'm not going to act all entitled to every minute detail. Instead, this time we'll just enjoy the pics, the tunes and the vids.
