Lunar Moon Jewelry Policy - Trades
I am often asked if I am willing to do trades for my jewelry?
Short answer: Maybe, depends on what you have to offer.
Long answer: If, I am not strapped for cash to deal with 1st world issues, I would be more open to discussing and possibly accepting trades.
It depends on what you have to offer and what you are requesting in return from me.
I do not accept requests or offer free jewelry samples unless I am running a raffle.

To be considered: The more qualities the better!
+ You have read and are willing to follow my trade rules.
+ You are an established, experienced, talented, professional, respectful, truth-worthy individual in your art form.
+ Have spoken to you about you or your work several times before.(Not just a random +Fav or +Watch.)
+ You have done at least a few trades before.
+ You wish to do a trade with me for an equal value of your time/materials for your half of the trade.
+ I know you and you know me on a first name basis or in person/IRL.
Trade rules:
1)Trades are -NOT- commissions! My rules are somewhat stricter because of this.
2) I will not trade with everyone who asks. Please keep it professional and do not get offended if I politely say no.
3) Nine of of ten times, I will -NOT- trade jewelry for jewelry.
4) All jewelry trades are second priority to paid commissions and 1st world/IRL issues (such as college or work).
Trades will take at minimum of a month to buy supplies and work on when I have free time and spare money for supplies.
5) There are no firm completion dates for trades.
6) I will do my best to put in an equal amount of work for what I am trading with someone else. Fair is fair after all.
7) WIP's - I try give WIPs for trades after I have worked on a trade. It would kindly request other traders would extend me the same courtacy. I wait for approval on ALL WIPs. So. if you ask me if something looks right, please wait a day or two for me to respond since life can happen. I will wait for you to respond to me before I move on.
8) If you wish to trade for any items on my online wishlist *click here* you have 7 days from the following day we agreed upon a trade to send me proof of purchase, like a screenshot, unless other arrangements have been made. It is your responsibility to contact me when your end of the trade is complete. After 3 days, without a reply tells me you are not committed to the wish list trade and I will cancel it.
9) Trades are not limited to items on my list from my wishlist. I may consider trades for almost any form of art or craft. It does not hurt to ask since I am almost always willing to talk about exchanging my skill for the skill of another. I can not or do not have the time or personal interest to make everything myself after all.
10) All trades only account for materials and my time. The trader is responsible for paying for shipping and postage fees.
b) I will ship anywhere in the world, but I am -NOT- responsible for additional costs for international shipping such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees.
It is illegal to falsify customs declarations or mark an item as a "gift" in order to avoid customs fees.
I will not commit customs fraud to save you a few coins/bills in your native currency, so do not not ask!
11) I will not mail off my part of the trade off until
a) I have received your final approval for the finished piece(s)
b) I seen/received your completed part of the trade
c) and I have received payment for shipping and postage for my half of the trade.
NO EXCEPTIONS!
12) I have the right to cancel trades due to the following reasons:
a) Lack of communication or feedback in a timely manner.
b) No communication within 30 consecutive days.
c) Inability to use proper grammar and spelling. (Only writing in role play or chat speak drives me batty!)
d) Hateful, racist, sexist, speciesism, or singling out any member of a particular group -OR- any particular group to put his/her/them down for no other reason than to be hurtfully in typed or spoken language/images/or video.
e) Excessive cursing or cursing out of immature behavior.
f) Whinny or annoying behavior due to impatience -ESPECIALLY- if I have not seen any progress for your side of the trade. See rule #5.
g) Anyone that has a history of not completing their trades. I read Artist Beware. -___-
13) I do say thank you for your hard work and you should thank me too. Not only is it polite and good manners, but I will feel more inclined to do trades in the future. Your code word is catnip. Hopefully this will encourage several pleasant experiences with trading with all sorts of talented people in the future. ^^
14) If you have a problem or situation that needs to be addressed, please, just send me a note or e-mail me. I will do my best to resolve whatever the situation is from my end in a professional courteous manner.
