Time is an important factor here for the horrible tragedy that fell upon them and their family, and their precious dogs.
Time takes away the painful wounds but still leaves scars.

I heard about this too. There seem to be more and more bad drivers on the road. We are living in the age of mass impatience, hand held technology, and general ignorance. It is ridiculous how many furries I am finding here on Fur Affinity who are deceased due to a car accident. I offer up my condolences everywhere.

I had four friends die in a car accident a few years ago. The pain does not go away. A part inside of me is dead so I can fully relate.

It sucks losing friends, doesn't it?

My friend Regina lost control of her car only three months ago and hit a tree. The sad thing is, she was a good driver, only something in the car gave out. Regina was killed. The others in the car severely injured. I don't like the idea of driving, I would prefer being driven places. Because of all of the tragic stories I hear, and experience, I can't see cars as lovely transportation, I see them as driven missiles.

Oh, that's horrible. :( My thoughts are with all of them - and I hope they will find the woman or man who's responsible for this.

This is absolutely heart wrenching... I didn't expect to cry tears of sadness after clicking one of your journals, DB but, I'm glad you spread the word about this. It's incredibly painful and I hope they find who is responsible for this. I'll send my condolences and a little bit to help out with expenses. So terrible. This should be national news.

Looks like they did. He's facing six felonies, misdemeanor DWI, and driving while on a suspended license.

He will be out in a few months.

Shame is, you're probably right. They need all that room to stuff non-violent drug offenders in.

Hopefully this hit and run person will be caught.

Dragoneer's put a fundraising type thing together for those of us going to FAU. I wasn't going to go, but I figure I've got about 5 suits in storage I don't use, so I'll probably head up and bring said 5 suits and let some watchers use them for the weekend or something to help raise some donations for Beastcub and her family. I highly suggest if you have a suitless friend going and have an extra suit, encourage them to borrow it, even if it's just for the photo shoot :)

It's an easy way to help if you don't have any spare money but were going to FA:U anyways.

There has been a lot going on recently about it, have to admit I cried watching the gallery of the photos of the dogs, they were lovely.

I am just glad and felt some relief that the scumbag responsible for this tragedy has been caught. He got stopped for suspected DUI, turned out to be his 4th plus a very extensive criminal record! What pisses me off the most is Beastcub mentioned he shows no remorse for what he did and he's upset he's charged for killing the dogs. I honestly feel disgusted, can't find a proper insult for this guy who is doing nothing but wasting air, I just hope he gets what he deserves and be put in a cell for a real long time.

Glad to hear they caught the culprit responsible for this, but it's a very limited consolation given the losses suffered. I'll spread the word and hopefully pull in some donators with the funds to spare.
