If I could draw, I'd probably make "KoF" fanart...

She enjoys portraying herself as a half-aware and dimwitted beast, drunken in the stupor of her own bodily composure.Yay, something more normal for a change in a journal...
Read about a dream that I had in this journal: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3325315/ (Highlights: A dark-skinned female character fighting a male character with a covering over his face.).
I can't stop thinking about "Neo-Geo Battle Coliseum." I love its music. And then the next thing that comes to mind is "The King of Fighters 2003." I never had a history of deep love of the KoF games - that was my brother (who could whoop my ass at that game in 45 seconds flat. ). But what I always loved was the SNK Playmore company's attention to artistry in everything that involved their games. Their characters have deepened personality, backstories, and forthcoming histories, maybe not so in-depth and "experience-laden" like a Final Fantasy character or an "Elder Scrolls" character (your OC included), but what's there serves to further a story along in the game, regardless of the fact that the biggest thing you will remember is an arcade experience.
I like how they present their work. SNK Playmore, who doesn't shy away from certain facets of art direction. Call me stupid and ignorant, but they're one of the kinds of companies who, in a tiny example, don't shy away from including dark skinned characters in their rosters and story arcs. Or, make it to the point where you can play as a light-skinned character with a DARK-skinned palette swap. XD <3 It's just nice to see that they ignore racial boundaries. That's one of the reasons why I can appreciate certain art direction choices made by other producers (not just in games). I can't name those producers off hand, XD but Square-Enix is one. I'll leave that up to speculation though. Sometimes Square can be just as weird as Capcom in presentation... >.>
I don't have a deep history with SNK Playmore's games. But funnily enough, back in 2007 I felt like I did. Certain games came out for PS2 around that time - games that showcased older games from certain companies (not just SNK), like "Taito Legends" and "Taito Legends 2" (I recognized "New Zealand Story," which was "Kiwi Craze" on the NES.). And there was "SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 1," ported from the PSP. That's one that became well loved with me, along with "Metal Slug Anthology," "Neo-Geo Battle Coliseum," and then "The King of Fighters 2003" and "2002," since at the time there was a certain longing for copies of the older KoF games that me and my brother went through (him moreso than I.) - we resolved that they must be collected. They were very rare games, and we wanted to preserve them. It was nice to have looked over some products that had a history about them (that alluded to it only so much, seldomly.). I love it when a game developer comes back from the past to press their old works forward so the younger generations can get a taste of what all us old folks were doing at certain times, ha ha (COLLEGE? FUCK THAT, I HAVE "WORLD HEROES!" Lol...).
I love a company that has a history to fall back on. Memories ingrained in many fans' minds, which only serves the company well, regardless of popular opinion regarding their works (i.e. "If you're Final Fantasy you don't need the best ratings since YOU love what you do." ). I myself could produce more, if I stopped looking back so much...
I'm a protestant christian. It's what I do.
Talking about gaaaaames...lol
