Attempted to finish BSG painting tonight but still have a ways I want to go. It is the painting that never ends! Here are a few most recent WIPs:

I need to take a break because my hand is getting numb. XD I shall continue to assault this after though.
Alright! So here we go. Several months ago in my livestream, the idea of a group commission was kicked around - specifically, of a bunch of characters dressed as either viper pilots or deck hands hanging out on the hanger deck of a battlestar, in the vein of the 2003 Battlestar Galactica series. I have been thinking about it and wish to go ahead with that idea, as an interesting long project.
What? Painting of your characters dressed in Battlestar garb on a hanger deck with ships!
How much? $50 per character to be included. For my detail painting work, this is wicked cheap. It's a bargain you get for participating in something fun. :3
So here we go! I am going to offer slots, as I don't wish to overcrowd the image. If you are interested, comment on this entry or send me a note and let me know if you want to be dressed as a viper pilot, a deck hand, or an officer. Any variety of character is fine, this will not be limited to bipedals. (I've totally drawn taurs in uniforms before, ahaha.)

5. Shimmortal - deck hand (paid)
6. Fringe - viper pilot (paid)

Edit: Wow, this is filling up even faster than I expected! Once it's all filled up and everyone is paid, work on it will begin. It's going to be a long project weaved in-between my other commissions for a few weeks. :3
All proceeds will go directly to feeding the artist and her boyfriend and helping them get set up in their new apartment. Very directly. Trust me. *chews on random people*

I dunno if I can afford this yet until after I pay my medical insurance...
I'll be leaving this open for a week or so, or until all ten spots fill up! Feel free to come back and poke me if circumstances have changed. :)
Though I don't think Taross is a good choice for a pilot. Deck Chief is good for me, it's what hir actual job is supposed to be anyway... if it fits the image.
