Plush FAQ

Do you accept commissions?
Yes! Commission status and information can be found here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3714298/
Do you accept trades?
Sometimes! If I have trade openings, it will be displayed on my profile.
Are your plush handmade?
Yes, they are all handsewn! I don't have a working sewing machine so I work entirely by hand.
Do you make the patterns? Can I get a pattern?
Yes I make them! But I rarely share the patterns because they are kind of a work in progress as I go along – and I tend to make new patterns almost every time I make a new plush. However, I may sell some simple patterns or make free ones available in the future. Keep an eye out if you want them!
Where do you get your materials?
Most of my fabric is bought from minkydelight.com and fabric.com. Other supplies are usually picked up from Michaels or Joanns, including the iron-on fabric for eyes! The fabrics I most commonly use include minky, velboa, suedecloth, and robe velour. I use only high quality fabrics on plush.
How did you learn to sew?
Practice! I have made and sold over 100 plush in the past five years. Just like drawing, painting, or playing an instrument, it takes time to learn how to do it. I started out with simple plush and as I began to figure out how to make more complex shapes, I began making tougher plush. I didn't take any classes (outside of a home-economics course in 7th grade where we made boxers…) or use any books. But you can find pattern books online or at craft stores!
