Character Spotlight: Sgt. Kelly Green
Kelly was born in the inner city, and grew up pretty well disciplined. She was one of the few kids in her neighborhood that had a father, and he was retired Navy, and he kept her largely on the strait and narrow through her childhood - he is why she got good grades, stayed out of gangs and such. Her mother was a happy, heavyset, woman, and she loved to cook. Her family owned and operated the "Chicken and Waffles" at the diner at the end of the street. This is where Kelly fell in love with food, and became one of those "Big Girls" that never got dates in high school and such. Thanks to the teasing, and the rough inner-city life, she learned how to keep a stiff lower jaw, and how not to take shit from nobody.
After graduation, taking a page from her fathers book, and actually wanting to get a better education, Kelly enlisted. She enlisted to all the major armed services, and thanks to her scholastic scores, and a few phone calls, she was able to get into the Marine Corps. Boot camp easily got her to drop the weight she needed to loose- and this left her as a smokin' hot soldier. Big tits, round ass, deadly aim. With her natural discipline, her inner city background and now training - she had earned a quality known as Grit, and she has a lot of it.
So onto her tours she went. As a Marine she was infantry, and often worked out in the war zones. One of the patrols out in Afghanistan she would do was known, by the men, as "The Cake Walk" - it was a 7 hour patrol out into the desert, and for the last 400+ days, NOTHING happened. They barely saw any other people, let alone anyone aggressive. But, since it was strategic, they all had to do this. Anyone who got the cake walk would bring a MP3 player, a few beers, and enjoy a nice long hike - and then the rest of the day off. So, cause of all this they got negligent - they didn't bring their full packs, they didn't bring a medic, they ddin't bring a lot of stuff.
One fateful August morning, she and her team were on The Cake Walk, and a sniper opened fire on her team. Lt. Marsh called for them to take cover. Torres caught a bullet to the head, but her helmet was able to keep her from death - Bronski laid down some covering fire, but Green here caught a bullet in the leg, way up at the hip joint.
Green wouldn't stay down. After hitting the sand, she pulled up her combat knife and elbow-crawled around to find their sniper. It took her a good couple minutes to make her way through the ruins, but then found the sniper. She slit his throat before she blacked out herself- saving her squad. When they got back to base many hours later (no med evac for this mission), When she came too, it was dark, DeLeon (the bases medic) was sullen, and the others were watching over her. DeLeon said he couldn't save her leg. The bullet shattered her femur's ball joint, and while she was crawling around she must have done more damage- he had to cut off the blood flow to her leg, to stay alive. Her leg was a lost cause - they amputated at the hip (hip disarticulation amputation).
Kelly, being so full of grit, after some recovery time (which was far too short. She pushed herself too hard, healed quickly, and didn't let the doctors intimidate her) she found some new options to stay a soldier. She couldn't run or march anymore, but she could still shoot. While being a sniper was her passion, the Mechanized Infantry was a place that would take her. So, with her fathers help, her L.T's assistance, her metals, service record and a very late night stay at a high ranking military officials tent, she was made a gunner for the Armored Mechanized Infantry (AKA: Tank Division!)
During her first tour in the Tank Corps, she was able to make a lot of friends (including one hard-ass lesbian tank mechanic). One tour later, she was saddled up with the greenest, shakiest, FNG driver that they could find. They figured someone like Green could get Kaz Takagi ta grow a pair. Unfortunately, he never got a chance. Being that he was so new, he found the 1 anti-tank mine in the whole area. The tank flipped, bent, and was crushed under some rocks. When they finally got them out, Green's right leg was crushed under some equipment, Takagi was simply crushed.
Needless to say, with no legs at all - her career in the field is over. She opted out, taking her medals, and early retirement, and a highly honored discharge. Now she's back in the inner city, disgusted at how the young people are today. Every 3 nights or so she gets very tempted to simply walk out at night and take out all the skuzzbag dealers and pimps in her neighborhood- instead she simply takes notes, video, and does proper recon and than tells the police.
She now works part-time at the Chicken & Waffles with her family, and successfully keeps the weight off. She takes care of her father, who's very proud of his little girl (or whats left of her). The two soldiers are now quite adjusted to her new body, and he jokes to her "Well, yer my -little- girl again" since she is half the height she was when she left.

Kelly is definitely my top fave so far. <3 She's busty, bootilicious sweet and tough. Just my kinda girl and I'd still love her with zero limbs. ^_^
And I know she digs you Leon lol.
Can't wait to RP some more. :D
Love a good narrative.
And thanks
