Momma Tiger's 400 icon challenge
Fundraiser to help my mom get better. Please see my previous journal for information since this one is already quite the wall of text. http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3736288/
The icons:
What do they look like?
There's somewhat between a whole lot and an assload on my website. Check em out under the "Static" link. http://electrocat.co.za/iconpages/static.php
Cost:
$10 (if you wish to donate more you are welcome to do so.)
You will receive:
-Hires copy of your icon (800x800) and your resize for FA (100x100)
-A print of your icon with a thank you note from Mom Tiger, she knows what we are doing and wishes to thank everyone personally, mailed to you. We have already added the cost of mailing onto the amount we need to raise.
-Your icon on a collage Mom also wants to make. It will have your icon with your name below it. We will print all the icons out and paste them onto the canvas, frame it and it will hang proudly in my studio, to forever remember what you did for us.
Rules:
How many icons are you taking?
I will take 20 icons at a time, when they are near completion I will open the next 20. 400 icons will be created by the end of this project.
How long will I wait for my icon?
I will need to give you a 2 week waiting time warning. This will allow me to continue working on the larger pictures I need to finish, and do at least 2 a day inbetween them. When the workload becomes less, we can start having more dedicated streams to finishing these. This will also allow me to finish all the icons in the batch and mail them to everyone in one go.
Will you be making couples icons?
No, the framed picture we are making will be alphabetized. For that reason I can't put Billy and Promethius Cornelius the Second next to each other. What I CAN do is have the background connecting with the characters in non interactive poses though.
How many can I buy?
You may purchase as many icons as you want, providing there are enough slots to cover what you would like.
However, for the purposes of the framed picture we wish to make, I am going to limit you to one icon per character, so we don't have repeat characters in the finished result.
When am I getting the print?
I will mail once per icon batch, giving a max of 2 weeks for shipping, you will receive it within a month. Tops. If you don't receive it by then PLEASE email me so I can get another made for you.
How to get one:
Due to your personal information, and me not wanting to mix this with my already hellish amount of notes on FA, we would have to do this over Email. It will make it easier for me to organize adresses, and i can mark unfinished icons as unread etc.
First you need to make a post here in the journal, just something like "Sent an email" and the heart icon to show you read all the crapola I wrote here.
Then you will send the email to the adress below, and provide me with the following.
Email: electrocat[at]electrocat.co.za
Subject: 400 Challenge (for my mail filter to make it easier)
Your icon:
-How many icons you would like
-The reference(s) for the character(s) you would like, and the expression/mood your character should have.
-The name we need to write on the framed picture (for example, your screen name might be Wolfgodomgimsoawesome987 but your character's name is Floofy. So Floofy will be written on the picture)
Your Print:
-Your name, who I should adress the print to.
-Your mailing adress
-I'll sign your print too if you want lol (thinks she's famous) just say whether you want me to or not.
Then, paypal the funds to electrocat@electrocat.co.za. with "400 challenge -YOUR NAME HERE-" (again for my message filter on the email. That way I will not mix the donations with my tips or commission money.
So, your checklist:

Send the email. (400 challenge in the subject for mail filter reasons)

btw. please dont overdo it and take a break now and then.
And yay, my mail filter works correctly for once.
Question for ya, I want to get 6 icons, but only currently have the ref for 2 of them, the rest are in the works atm. Would it be better to pay for the 2 of them now and then hope to get into later batches with the other 4, or pay for all of them at once and then send the refs as I have them?

So since the framed picture will be alphabetized does that mean say if I wanted 2 icons one called "Remmmy" and the other "Reoster Face" would that mean they would end up together in the framed picture?
