Have your art laser-engraved for profit (and fun)!
So I work at a workshop that does laser engraving of things. On August 25, we are having an open house/exhibition that's themed around fantasy and fairy tales. A bunch of the people who work in the shop have made various pieces for it, but I'm likely going to be scrambling at the last minute for more things to fill out the show.
If you are an artist and have art that would fit the theme, I am offering to engrave your work onto something and put it up for display. If it sells, you'll get a portion of the profit. (I'll work with you to set the price so you get what you want.) If it doesn't sell, pay for the shipping and I'll ship the engraved piece to you, to do with as you will.
Anyway, there's my predicament/offer. I'll have to choose art on criterion of how well it fits the show and on how well I think it'll engrave. I may also end up contacting a few artists specifically.

I have some pieces you may be interested in, would you like me to email them, or upload them? They're not furry related, it that ok?

Uploading some stuff to look at, even just to a Dropbox folder or imgur or something, would probably be easier I think. And I'm actually looking more for non-furry stuff. Dragons/fairies/knights would be ideal.

OOH! I have some friends that could really benefit from this! I'll pass it on to them since I can't really draw yet. x3

I can use any amount of detail, from simple to tiny. The bigger thing is that things that work best are simple black/white ink-type drawings. Stuff with crisp edges rather than gradients.

What sort of detail would you be looking at? I would be very interested. :)

Amount of detail is less critical, as ideally I'll be engraving things at different sizes. More important is, drawings with crisp black and white areas work better than smoothly shaded pictures.
